The white plastic square part of the handle that gets inserted into the side of the toilet was 2 mm too big (I measured it against the old part.) and would not fit even though it was specifically for the type of toilet (Toto) that I was trying to repair. By taking my old handle apart and using only the rod and tiny swivel pin from my new purchase, I was ultimately able to fix the toilet. What should have taken me 5 minutes turned into over 30 while I experimented with different combinations. I now know way more about the inner workings of a toilet handle than I thought I would need to ever know.

The mechanism on my Kohler rusted and the other part was stripped. My husband looked for replacement at several local big box hardward stores but not one had it. Then I thought of Amazon and lo and behold there it was. It had good reviews and had an amazingly low price. The repair was quick and easy! Did the job as promised!

Once I got the handle to fit by trimming the square rubber piece the handle worked fine. The difference is that when you push on the handle it probably works opposite from he handle you replaced. For the price that is a small problem.

Just as described--it's a replacement lever assembly. The lever eventually breaks (after 15-20 years!). This is a perfect replacement & easy to install.

Worked great! The "universal" handles didn't work on my side-mount handle toilet. This slipped right in and works.

We could not find these locally, they fixed our problem at a reasonable cost
