A quality product at a good price. The telescopic device for hooking the top of the cover on and off the brolly is a really useful. Check the dimensions of your parasol to make sure you order the right size as the cover is generously proportioned.

Whatever this is made of feels quite durable, but we haven't had it long enough to really be able to comment with regards to longevity, and since we bought it we haven't had any rain, so can't comment regarding water resistance. They provide you with a telescopic pole to help with putting this on and off your parasol, however, there's not really anywhere to secure the end of that pole, so the cover does slip around quite a bit - there is a definite knack to doing it which we haven't quite perfected yet! The cover is quite voluminous, but the strap around does help secure it in place well even though it's been quite breezy.

I have a 3m parasol from Dobbies garden centre. It cost about £200 so I thought it'd be sensible to get a cover, even though it's been outside for a couple of months already without one.I only got this cover recently so cannot comment on longevity, but it seems well made. It fits the parasol perfectly. It's a similar material to a BBQ cover I purchased several years ago and that's been absolutely fine sat in the garden, so i've got high hopes for this.The little stick included to help lift it over the umbrella is helpful because otherwise I'm not sure how you'd be able to do it, short of using a ladder. There is also a little storage bag that fits the 'helper' stick inside nicely.Can't complain at all, seems excellent for the price of circa £15! Even if it lasts one winter, it'll have paid for itself if it protects the parasol.

Great waterproof cover, comes with extension rod to allow easy fitting.

Lasted about a year before fading, tearing, and disintegrating at the top from sun exposure. The fit is good, the belt is useful, and the zip is strong. The telescopic rod was fiddly and broke in the middle. Works fine short-term, but don’t expect it to last long.
