This essential and limited LP edition contains 18 studio tracks from Otis Rushs early years, featuring such important musicians as Willie Dixon, Little Walter and Ike Turner. Included here is a wide selection of the electric blues and R&B sides Rush recorded for the labels Cobra, Chess, and Duke, between 1956 and 1962. Every song on this LP compilation is distinct in mood and shows a different side of Rush's guitar prowess and vocal delivery. Despite being a collection of singles, it comes together as a remarkably consistent album.
