The item is perfect. Larger than I had expected. Perfectly packaged. I am the office nerd and nearly got caught with my pants down (so to speak of course). I set it on my desk under fluorescent lights then went for coffee. Nothing was rotating when I got back. That was my secret until now. It's a bitch when the science know-it-all tries to show off and fails to have done his research. Buy with confidence if you are lucky enough to have a sunny spot for it.

This was a gift for my Dad and he was pretty excited. It’s much smaller than I thought but he is happy so I’m happy.

It arrived well packed, but initially the vanes do not turn when in sunlight - even direct sunlight. I had one already, and my old one would spin when this one did not. I kept it, though, because I think it's pretty. One evening recently I took it down to show my son and I noticed the next morning that it was spinning madly. I think the rotor and vanes weren't centered over the fulcrum before and now they are.

Great product. I owned one of these before from another company, but it only spun if you flicked it to get it going. This one spins when the sunlight is strong enough all on its own.

It arrived in great condition, and turns fairly fast even on an overcast day!

The media could not be loaded.  This Radiometer is so sensitive to light that it spins on rainy days. Now that the sun is out the little things inside are spinning like crazy!

I bought two. One works great and the other sits there and looks at me. still.
