I bought this grabber to help me post surgery. It has been an absolute lifesaver! I am not allowed to bend for six weeks and this goes with me everywhere in the house! Gripping mechanism works good. Able to pick up a variety of shapes & sizes. I use primarily for mowing. When picking up heavier items, it does bend, but still works great. Nice to fold & store
