It’s fun for my cat.
It took my cat a little while to figure out how to use this feeder but now he likes the challenge and it slows down his eating.

slows down gorging, but......
the center spindle adjustment is almost useless since the food keeps getting stuck no matter how far open its set for. however, the cats like using it and compete to get the food.

Slows down their eating and keeps them busy. A little pricey, but aren't we all suckers for our furry friends!

Food gets stuck too easily
We have three cats, and I bought this because the oldest one likes to eat as much as possible as fast as possible and then throw up all over the house immediately after. It's helped with that (after she got over being upset with me), but I have issues with the dispensing mechanism. Even with it open as much as possible, the food gets jammed every. single. day. The food pieces aren't very big at all and I still have to shake the whole thing every morning to get more food to come down. I'll be keeping it, but I think we'll invest in a different slow feeder.
