3-in-1 More Like - An Excellent Bag!
I very much like this multi-purpose bag, and it's a handy thing to take travelling with you. It can be used in three main ways:1. As a rain cover for your rucksack while you are carrying it2. As a flight transport bag for your rucksack at the airport3. As an extra holdall bag if you need additional luggageThis bag is zipped on three sides, with a pull cord around the seam allowing you to fit it over your rucksack and pull the bag tight. Even if your rucksack is supposed to be waterproof like mine, I always find the contents get damp whilst trekking in heavy rain, so a rain cover is extremely sensible in my view, and a standard carry item for me now (as well as a plastic bag to wrap my sleeping bag inside)Cleverly, this particular rain cover has additional uses as a holdall, and this is just the sort of multi-purpose philosophy I like. It effectively lets me carry more kit, without adding extra weight. The primary benefit is being able to zip my entire rucksack inside at the airport, before placing in on the luggage conveyor. The bag comes with a webbing carry handle and a clip-on shoulder strap that I always detach and carry on to the aeroplane. Luggage travels miles inside the bowels of an airport, and I can't tell you how many sad, dead rucksacks I've seen at bagggage claim carousels, with tearful owners scooping up spilled contents from ripped bags after a flailing strap has caught somewhere and ripped their rucksack open. Inside this cover my rucksack remains safe, with nothing to catch. The extra bonus is the dual use as an additional holdall, if you suddenly need extra luggage.I like this CNOC bag, just as I've liked the sleeping bag of theirs that I own. It's all good kit, and well made. I can fit my trusty 75 litre Berghaus inside it without a problem and it keeps things dry, even in the outside pockets, in the wettest weather. The material is sturdy enough without being heavy, and it comes in a dedicated carry bag. It measures 950mm x 500mm x 250mm, with these measurements being flexible due to the soft sides. Packed away it becomes a cylinder 200mm high x 110mm diameter. At forty pounds this is on the expensive side, and I'd have preferred to see it being a little cheaper, but on the other hand it's well made, useful, and a sensible insurance policy against expensive damage or loss. So it's still good value and worth a full five stars. If this has been useful I'd be hugely grateful if you could let me know by hitting the button below. Many thanks :-)

Good for temporary storage during transport or on rainy days in the tent
Works well and a nice size for temporary storage. I do prefer to have the rain cover built in at the bottom of the rucksack for convenience and as it is easy for active usage, but this is a good way to keep it dry and protected during transport or inside the tent front on rainy nights. This takes up more space than the aforementioned built-in storage, but it is also thicker and more durable.A useful solution.

Great!
This is a compact (when stored in the bag) solution for campers and travellers needing to waterproof their bags.Really well made and rolls/folds down into a small space. It's light too.A great solution for those of us without a built in water proof cover on their bag.
