Ok for finding in soft dirt.
Ok scoop but not in hard dirt great in sand it's plastic so must take care in working with it.

Nice little sand scoop.
Good little beginner scoop for digging in soft sand. It works good enough to assess if the hobby is for you. If it ends up being something you enjoy, you will want a scoop with a handle. It helps the old lady find bottle caps.
