Great book with lots of detail and beautiful images. I can see this being used for many years to come.

Finally a book which highlights the fun in what I like to do. I love painting odds and ends off the beach - gull feathers, dead fish, shells, of course, and plants. Lots of ideas for different media and a lot of 'start from scratch' instructions. A beautifully presented and printed book, would make a wonderful and slightly unusual gift for a leisure painter. However at least one of the web addresses on the 'information' page already not accessible.

This book is very good for ideas & inspiration. Currently working on a botanical course and about to do a short illustrating insects one so this should give me some good practical sessions to try in the meantime.

Wonderful pictures and a pleasure to look through. It has practical useful information to help aspiring botanic artists, but a lot of practice would be needed.

Good basic stuff. Lots of ideas. I needed something more advanced but this book is ok and I will get much from it.
