So...my mom is 95 and her balance has gotten pretty bad. A regular cane does nothing for her because she's not dealing with weakness or a leg problem--really just the balance issue. So I ordered this, and woohoo! So far she's digging it! She still needs to get used to it, but she says it's really stable. She also likes it better than the one for sale in the local CVS. She says it feels sturdier. It folds up to about the size of an umbrella (not counting the quad base). The four rubber tips are easily installed, and it comes with an Allen wrench (hex key) to attach the base. It's lightweight aluminum and height-adjustable. The quad base has a little unusual shape--they call it "K" shaped--which is supposed to make it more stable. I have no idea if that's the case, but it does seem they were thoughtful about the design.

Purchased this for my 90+ year old mom who needed to have something collapsible for times when the walker is too unwieldy and in tight spaces. She used to have a cane with a rubber foot, but it was too small a base and didn't provide enough stability due to the flexible base and connection. The four-footed cane is extremely stable, stands on its own, and you'll notice that the four feet are configured in a K pattern, where the flatter side of the "K" is kept facing the body of the user so the feet of the base aren't in danger of tripping the user - very thoughfully designed. The cane can also be broken down via bungee cord where you simply need to pull it apart at the connections. As a bonus, the sections have an indentation so that It can't be reconnected incorrectly and would be properly oriented and ready to use at all times. Great purchase and great value.

I needed a cane with a stable base that would stay upright when I wasn't holding it. I find this cane to be extremely sturdy yet lightweight and I can depend on it to stay upright.

I like this product helps me get around better than my single cane ,,, I gave it a 4 because I wish it was just a little more sturdy ( kind of wobbles a little bit)

Good height, but not very sturdy

It’s very easy to assemble and steady. However, the shortest length is still a bit long for my mom, who is 5’2” tall.
