It's OK...it could work with a better app, manual and adapter.
It didn't come with any manual and I wasted 2 hours trying to connect to the WiFi. It worked first time, but then I decided to sign up in the app (iCSee) for more features and add the device again, but it wouldn't add since it was already registered. The solution was to reset it with a paper clip (switch it on, put the clip on the clear hole--not the mic one--and long press the switch). It took me some time to figure this out without the manual. It doesn't come with a bayonet adapter, so make sure you buy one as well. The Bluetooth speaker quality is OK, not so bad as I expected it to be. The image quality is fine. My only concern is that the app is not clear about what sort of data they are collecting, and it's very possible that they collect images or video from the camera! So be aware of that. The light control is a bit rubbish, you can't choose the colour you want, the only options I can see are: Auto / ON / OFF / Atmosphere / Glint / Timing.Auto doesn't seem to do anything. 'ON/OFF' switches a cold white light on (not very bright). 'Atmosphere' switches between different RGB tones automatically, 'glint' seems to trigger the light with the microphone (music) loud frequencies (but don't expect a proper spectrum corresponding to audio frequencies, it's very basic), timing can be used for switching the white light with a timer. The snapshot function works well, but for recording videos it seems to only work through the 'alarm/motion detection' feature. There is another version of this app, iCSee Pro, which seems exactly the same as the other one. I wish there was a better app, that could offer better RGB and video recording controls, and that doesn't require all sorts of permissions and doesn't steal your data (or images)!!
