Use alarm monitor when you need to know if you patient is trying to get up from their bed or chair. Move the monitor from the bed pad to the chair pad as required. Pads are made of a soft vinyl, with foam interior, and are sealed for incontinence protection. Place the bed pad under your patient's back or buttock area (under the lower sheet) so that you get the earliest alert. Alarm will sound when they sit up, and before they start to swing their legs around to the side of the bed. In the chair, simply place the pad in the seating area. When they start to rise, the alarm will sound! Alarm uses one 9 volt battery (not included) To reduce the amount of batteries you will use for your alarm, you might wish to purchase an AC adapter for this alarm unit.
