NAD+ supplement powder with an acrid taste
This NAD+ (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) Food supplement comes in the form of 30 grams of powder in a foil resealable pouch. With a suggested recommended dosage of 1g per day this gives 30 days supply. The NAD+ powder has an expiry date 15 months after the delivery date.The pouch is quite small being about 6 inches long (15.5cm) by 4.3 inches wide (11 cm). The pouch when opened and held to the nose to smell has no real smell to it. The product is produced in a GMP facility and is Gluten free and Vegan Friendly. Its states on the product page that it originates in the UK though I couldn’t see that on the product label.You take the supplement by using the spoon that is provided in the powder, since it is quite light you can feel the spoon through the pouch and you place under the tongue and allow to dissolve. The mixture has a slightly unpleasant sour taste (made me grimace) and leaves an aftertaste that is the same. Enough so I actually had a glass of water to get rid of it. Not really unpleasant but enough to want to clear the palate.NAD+_ is a coenzyme found in our cells. It plays a major role in regulating cellular fnction, DNA repair and anti-ageing. I am interested in NAD+ supplements as I was previously Diabetic (in remission), on a restricted long term diet and also as I do extended walks a number of times a week, as well as because of my age. I am interested in the potential benefits that I may get from the supplement of increased insulin sensitivity, energy production and cellular repair, which means the body may repair itself quicker.This supplement is a more premium priced supplement and this seems pitched at the general price range. My issue is whilst this supplement is not really unpleasant, I find it much easier to swallow softgels without the acrid taste, so probably wouldn’t get this again and that is the reason for my rating.

This Nutrality NAD+ Supplement arrived well packaged and as described. The pouch I received looks just like the photos advertised.It comes in a powder form with a small plastic scoop which gives you the required dosage, this makes it easy to know how much to have without having to weigh anything.The recommendation is to take 2 scoops under the tongue in the morning and allow it to dissolve. It's a very unique flavour and one that's hard to describe. I don't find it unpleasant it's just different.From my own research, I read NMN may help increase NAD+ levels, boost physical performance, and improve certain aspects of metabolic health, such as insulin sensitivity.It's hard to say if I have felt any difference from taking this supplement as it mainly affects your metabolism so maybe on the inside I have these benefits. I do feel a bit more energy but I have been experimenting with various supplements so it's hard to say which one has helped.The hype around NMN seems to remain strong, for that reason, I will continue taking it despite the high price tag of this item. I do feel it's an investment in my health and well-being.Overall I would recommend this product as the quality seems great and I love that it's third-party tested.
