This is a great little stapler!Pros:*Nice small size so it doesn't take up too much space. (It is smaller than I expected, which was a nice surprise.)*Super easy to load: You press a button on the back that opens the staple holding area. You put your staples right on top and then push it back in place. There's no spring-loaded staple pusher to worry about, which I think makes it much easier to load. (This is probably my favorite feature of this stapler.)*Uses standard size staples. (It looks like it would be able to hold high capacity staples as well with no problem.) Staple sizes are etched right into the side of the staple holding area for easy reference.*Performance is easy and smooth. The leverage bar makes for minimal user effort.*I was able to staple through 36 pages with ease. I have no problem believing this will do the 40 pages it claims, and beyond. (You would likely want high capacity staples for that, though.)*Fairly lightweight for a stapler.Cons:*The bottom is plastic rather than rubber, so it doesn't grip the surface it's on. (I haven't found it to be a problem, but it is worth noting.)*Doesn't hold a full 500-staple strip. (You can buy smaller staple strips, which I would recommend for this product. Again, I don't see it as a problem, but some people might.)

I was looking for a stapler that could handle more pages than the average stapler but didn't require a quarterback to operate. This fits the bill. Very easy to use (as in great strength isn't required) and does handle the extra pages that I was looking for. I did return the first one I got because it jammed after a few days of use and wouldn't work. Return was easy, the replacement came quickly, and has been working great since I got it (about a month ago). I would buy another one if I needed it.UPDATE: I never do this but I wanted to update my review. I've been using the stapler for about four months now. I love this stapler. Such a simple thing but when something works well it is a joy to use. This does its job simply and well. I never think about it except to notice that I don't have to think about it. Get it, you won't regret it.

I work in a small Insurance office. Thanks to our old-school boss, we are not paperless. As you can imagine, we work with lots and lots of paper. We go through staplers fairly often here. They seem to wear out and start jamming up after only a few months. I purchased this stapler because it claimed to be heavy duty and offered "one touch technology". I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is EXACTLY what it claims to be! I love the effortless stapling. You literally only need to use 1 finger to staple multiple papers. I'm sure without the need to "slam" the stapler to get it through several pages, this stapler will last virtually forever! The only downside I have found is that my coworkers keep "borrowing" mine =) Money very well spent!

The stapler pushes down to staple easily, and the staples are easy to replace. Once in a while it does seem to get jammed, but opening and reclosing the part where you replace the staples resolves the problem right away and is not a big deal. Essentially it acts like it is empty, but when opened, no staples appear crooked and no prying out of a staple is necessary. After closing, it then allows you to staple. Closing it fixes it without really doing anything. For an inexpensive stapler it is a good value! Because of the occasional need to open and close it, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 but I would not hesitate to buy it again.

This stapler is easy to use - load by pressing the green button at the back, the loader shoots out and you insert your staples (standard size). And, it handles a thick stack of papers - I tried 50 even though it's stated capacity is only 40 - and it did fine. The best thing though, is the ergonomic design making it SO easy to just press to staple and go - no extra force necessary! The best stapler I've used in many years.

This stapler is heavy-weight compared to other plastic staplers. It is small-to-medium sized, so it doesn't hold as many staples as a regular large stapler, but saves space on a desktop. It feels sturdy and does a great job of stapling thick stacks of paper, which is the point. It uses regular-sized staples, so there is no need to go out and buy any specially-sized staples.

Very smooth and easy. I read another review that said cheap plastic. Not true. It is plastic, but certainly not cheap. I am sure I will be using it for years t come. I thought I would have to buy special staples, but the standard size ones I had on hand worked great. So far I stapled 22 pages. This one will be my everyday stapler now.

When it works, out of the box, it is super easy and powerful. But when I ran out of staples, for the life of me I could not figure out how to reload. There's a green button on the back which does nothing. Maybe it's faulty, maybe I'm missing something? But at this point, it's just a paperweight.
