Great for kids

We bought 2 packs for our 7 year old. She needed a bit of help putting it together as some of the holes quite tight for the sticks but this improves with use. The structure is more than sturdy enough for a sheet and thin blanket. There are helpful arrows on the connecting balls to help you get the right angles if making a roof etc. When you want to clear a space it disconnects rapidly and is small to store.She has used it regularly and by far and away her best present - I would recommend for anyone.

For the price, this set is great for making a basic structure to play around with. The pieces all fit together well, and you can obviously try out lots of different designs and configurations. I used it as a den to provide a bit of shade (with a sheet draped over the top) for my cats in the garden!! I personally don't think it would stand up very well to kids with bashing in and out of it - the connectors and poles are likely to come apart and it's also quite small for kids to enter in and out of. Ignore the bit that says about orange and yellow connectors - mine were blue and green as per the picture.

The join holes are small so makes it difficult to get the poles into. Way to tough for a child

Bit hard for younger kids to assemble, but with adult help can entertain for hours. My kid has build lots of things, houses, spaceships, igloos, cars. Imagination is the key!

Build den and throw on some blankets

Total waste of money! So flimsy that it won't hold a blanket very well. Really hard for an adult to put together let alone a child! The holes are too small for the poles and they take a lot of pushing to get in the hole. Left with blisters on my hands. My kids had a pack each for Christmas and gave up on Christmas Day. I now understand why! I bought them one each (3 kids) so that they could make a bigger den between them. The bigger its made, the flimsier it gets!

My nine year old son has hours of fun making great dens. If you buy two then the imagination and excitement doubles. Tent pegs and sheets are a must to make the perfect den. If you have a weakness in your hands probably not the product for you, because they do need lots of pressure to push into the holes.
