Best and affordable controller
The media could not be loaded. Overall, the G8 Galileo game controller is a fantastic option for anyone looking to enhance their gaming experience. Its combination of comfort, performance, and customizability sets it apart from many competitors in the market. While there are a few minor improvements that could be made—such as additional grip options or more extensive RGB lighting features—the controller delivers on its promise and offers excellent value for money. Whether you're a casual gamer or looking to take your skills to the next level, the G8 Galileo is certainly worth considering.

I could not be happier.
So what can I say? I’ve gone through let’s just say a number of mobile controllers I have an iPhone 16 pro Max but I ended up getting lots of cheap ones which I didn’t work or broke on me. I was a bit worried spending extra on this one, however, I could not be happier But you do have to remove your phone case that doesn’t bother me in the slightest to be honest it’s so comfortable the buttons everything just feels amazing. It works with iPhone brilliantly. Use it mainly to play the PlayStation and gaming laptop and I’m so glad I got it before I bought it. I thought gosh that’s a lot of money. I don’t regret it for a second. 🥰

At first I thought it wasn't working, but once it works it is great.
The setup is confusing and it was difficult to find any information on how to get it working. With my phone (Realme RMX1993) I had to download the app for certain games to work. Before connecting the phone to the controller I have to go to settings, additional settings and enable OTG connection first and each time I use it, otherwise it doesn't work. Until doing this all that was happening was usb charging, and my phone and the app didn't register it being connected. None of the official manuals mentioned this as far as I can tell and I had to find this out on an internet forum.Once it is working it just works with most games straight away. If the game has on screen touch controls only, you can remap them to the physical controls using the Gamesir app. The app has a calibration mode and mode for testing the buttons. Works on most games, even if there's no official controller support. There's macro recording options and auto and turbo fire options. There's 3 modes for Android, Playstation and Xbox (for the live streaming apps) and the colour of the LEDs changes to show which mode you're in. I have only used Android and Xbox mode. There is a button combination to change modes, but it is usually automatic. The buttons, triggers and sticks all feel high quality, finely textured and made from good materials and the controller is very sturdy. It doesn't feel like the phone can fall out or anything. It is gripped and clamped by rubber pads and the USB-C connector has some adjustment to allow for phones of different sizes. The springs are quite strong. The only problem is it is awkward to insert and remove the phone. The USB can angle up a bit so you can plug the phone in then open the clamp to allow it to drop in, then let the clamp close.Apparently it's not designed for phones with a case over them. This probably depends on your phone and case thickness, as the USB can't plug in fully if you have a thick case.I like that there's no noticeable latency, I can charge my phone while using it, and it has a quality feel in the hand. It would be good if it could be used like a standard USB PC controller, but I couldn't get it to work on Steam; the female USB is for pass through phone charging only. It doesn't have Bluetooth, but for me that's fine. There's no batteries inside, it just runs off the phone battery.

Perfect + amazing value
Bought for some android gaming but especially streaming via Xbox or PC; works almost flawlessly for cloud gaming provising you have decent fibre internet speeds.Anything running on the phone native works great with the controller which is extremely comfortable, robust and correct size, an issue with the Nintendo Switch joycons for example.Honestly I would never consider playing proper android games before owning this but now it's like a having a fully powered console. Deffo worth £80.Minor cons would be very slight wiggle as it's not secured with any clips or something, and the phone connector is quite delicate but TBF I haven't had an issue to date.If you want a switch, ps portal or steam deck etc this isn't the same but covers much of the same potential at a fraction of the cost. The fact you don't need Bluetooth and batteries etc is excellent as well, it's effectively a large phone case with gaming controls. Awesome

Works, and works Well !
This just works, as does the app. The app is simple but does all that you will need, including calibrating, firmware updates etc.It also fits a Pixel 8 Pro With Google's case fitted, so no need to remove your phone case, just plug it in and play, That simple. As an aside, if anyone is looking for a case for it, I suggest this - look for RLSOCO Hard Case for Fluke Networks MT-8200-60-KIT IntelliTone Pro 200 Toner and Probe Kit on amazonhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09993S71L?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsAs you can see from the pics, it fits and it came with a foam insert that I roughly cut to shape.I did have to remove the flap and yop pouch as they were pressing onto the controls but that literally a 5 min job with scissors. If you want to look for another case, these are the inside dimensions that you will need - 23 x 12 x 6 cm
