My cat loves this catnip
These plant pods are quick, easy and mess free. They grow very well and my cat loves the harvest.

Not so great
I think if I had the whole set up these were meant for they would've grown better. Unfortunately I didn't know when I got these. They tend not to grow very well they look sickly and lanky and that medium they come in is rubbery and it's difficult for the plants to bury in to. The price for this product is kinda pricey. I'd go and buy another product unless you have the machine but I'm not sure and from what I've seen I dint think you'd fare any better

Didn't fit my AeroGarden
Advertised as fitting an Aero Garden but was too big to fit in mine. I had to cut it in half to get it to fit.

Poor Product
These catnip plants do not grow well. They sprouted grew one inch and gave up! Don't waste your money. Buy Local-then you can take them back and get a replacement.

Update - Cat’s hate it! Not the same as nursery grown
UPDATE. Yes, everything I previously wrote is true - it was growing beautifully. However, my CATS HATE IT - and my cats go CRAZY for catnip - not this stuff. Snubbed! It smells funny..kinda like perfume. Not the same “grade” as what you would buy from a nursery or pet store. Shame - grows like the weed it is! Disappointed in the catnip.This is EXCELLENT. (See pics) Doing EXACTLY what it claims. The pictures (3) I’ve posted are at 3 weeks of growth! No idea how the other reviewers are having so many problems. Over-watering? It DOES come with instructions and specifically says HOW MUCH water and WARNS against over-watering. Don’t over-fill. I’ve only had to add water once in 3 weeks.Lighting: Nothing to it. Plug it in, it stays lit for 16 hrs and goes off for 8. I plugged mine in to follow the natural daylight as much as possible - on at 7am - off at 11pm. Done.Photos and observations:In case you can’t see the names clearly, below are left to right:BACK ROW1. Green leaf lettuce (prolific!)2. Catnip (super healthy!)3. Catnip (again - beautiful!)4. Mini-Cherry Tomatoes (also healthy!)5. Water Cress (fully grown- need to eat!)FRONT ROW1. Chives (spindly)2. Yellow Peppers (beautifully healthy)3. Basil (looks amazing)4. Chives (again spindly)My only grief so far, is that the chives look a little “thin” - maybe not enough seeds in the pod? But their growth expectancy is 1-2 months, so I’ll wait and see.Oh, and the only other grief is that my kitten started munching on the 1st thing that popped up - thus the “zap” mats! lol. They work! Don’t worry, I tested my hand on the matts at highest setting and it is just a little tingle - but enough to keep him off. Otherwise, I’d never be able to grow his favorite catnip that he loves!Hope this review helps. I love it.
