I'm quite pleased with the size of this jar; it's just right for my needs. The wide opening at the top allows me to easily decorate the inside. However, I did notice that the glass sounds a bit brittle when tapped, so I'd recommend handling it with care to avoid any accidental breakage. One minor disappointment is the cork lid, which has a hole in the center that I'm not entirely sure about the purpose of it. Nonetheless, it's easy enough to find a replacement cork if needed. Overall, it's a great starting point for your creativity!

This jar arrived in a plain box, so if you wanted to give it as a gift you'd need to jazz it up a bit. The jar is lovely - it's a very pleasing shape that will fit with most decors. It's rather small for a terrarium, but not so much as to be unuseable. The neck is big enough to easily get my hand inside, so planting it up would be easier than it is with some.The cork stopper that comes with it has a hole in it, but with the right size solid stopper, this jar could have many different uses. Recommended!
