I own both the Whales Bot A3 and B3 and they are outstanding! What sets whales bot apart is the progressive complexity, allowing my three-year-old to grow alongside the products. It's immensely beneficial for long-term engagement and ensures continuous development. I'm impressed, and I will certainly purchase more. Plus, their excellent customer support is the cherry on top!

Fun, but the motor piece broke rather quickly. Now they're pretty much just building blocks.

My kid LOVES to play with this and be creative with it, it's been really fun to see what he comes up with. The only bad part about it is the buzzer. It's LOUD. And annoying. And it's not just a second of beeping, it will continuously beep until they stop holding the button or move away from the sensor. It needs to be quieter and not such an obnoxious frequency.Price point feels a little high for being "fancy" duplos and other connections would be nice, besides just a light and buzzer. Depending on how interested your kid is in it, they may bore quicker. Overall though, it was a decent purchase.

No written assembly instructions anywhere in package. No customer support number listed in package. You must scan a QR code to load their app to get assembly instructions, but when you do, an advertiser app download page comes up. You don't want to download the app of any unknown advertiser! You get a different advertiser each time you scan the QR code. The Whalebot company name is nowhere to be found, only advertiser stuff. Since there is no way to get the app safely, there is no way to get assembly instructions. Same for coding. Even if you build it without instructions, you can't program it for the same reasons above. I tried downloading their app from the Google play store, but the app there is a controller app. It does not have assembly instructions or the ability to enter the programming interface. The download available from the QR code is a non-secure download, very dangerous. My advice: Do not go anywhere near this product.
