The rope lights will stay illuminated for 10-12 hours depending on Battery type used. Each rope lights has 40 LED lights that will make a definite night time statement, and are rated at over 10,000 hours of life. Includes Rope Light String, battery box for 2AA batteries, batteries not included. Battery Box is 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 2 5/8" and holds 2- AA batteries.
