I was excited to no longer have to break out my scissors to line a cake pan when I found these. But there are definitely different grades of parchment; I went for the lowest price, not understanding this. These are super-thin, not as thick as what comes in the Reynolds or PaperChef rolls. I guess that’s less wasteful, but in certain applications it can be disconcerting, like when you’re trying to take it off the bottom of a cheesecake and can’t really find it. Still, for a normal cake, where you can flip it over onto it’s top and peel the thing off while you’re looking at it, it’s fine. It does work, and that’s what counts—that and not having to do the *&%( thing that reminds me of making snowflakes as a kid...

These help cakes release so quickly and make cleanup a breeze, but pay attention to the size that you order- the inches given are the size of the parchment, not the size of the pan you can use the rounds with. So a 9" parchment round won't fit into a 9" pan without additional trimming or some bunching around the edges. Not a huge issue, but I recommend ordering one size down from the size of your pan.

I use these for making large gluten free wraps. I squish the dough with an 8" tortilla press, then use a roller to make the wrap larger to fit the parchment-round. I leave one side of parchment-round on the wrap and place it dough side down into a hot pan with a bit of oil in it. The parchment lets go of the dough as I peel it off slowly. I throw away the peeled round if it isn't still in condition to use again. Since these are large, I can only cook one at a time; meanwhile I re-use the parchment for the next wrap. I usually use a parchment round to separate the cooked wraps while they stay warm in the oven.

If you are Keto, you have to have parchment paper and the irritant is trying to cut it to size. With these squares I can just grab and line. I find them very useful but wish they were a bit bigger...they don’t come up far enough on the sides.

A bit pricey, but oh the convenience! A significant time saver, especially during the holiday baking rush. No longer have to fight with a curling piece of roll parchment, trace and cut. A slight quibble: not all my nine inch baking pans conform to the pre-cut dimensions of the product. Will buy again.

Bought these for our air fryer for easy clean up and they're amazing. Great little packaging too to keep them organized. Thought it was expensive for just parchment paper but it really is worth the time saved from making my own little parchment squares. Love that they're eco friendly as well as they're compostable in my city.
