Office Chair Gas Shock Cylinder Replacement - Universal Size, Heavy Duty Hydraulic and Pneumatic Shock (Black)

I have a comfortable big office chair that has been too low for my preference since day one 3 years ago... Finally had the idea of replacing the air-lift cylinder with a longer / taller model... Total happiness!!Be sure to search for U- Tube videos that show how to easily remove the old lift cylinder ... hint: you'll need a big pipe-wrench to make it easy!

Product worked great initially, after about 4 weeks it started faltering, actual weight it may hold without messing up is 400-425.

The cylinder was what it was stated to be. Through no fault of the supplier it was not the size I needed, so I had to reorder to get the correct one. The problem was I didn't realize one- size-fits- all, was not reality.

we ordered these according to dimensions 9 3/4 inches below the button per a question answered.They ARE NOT 9 3/4. Barely 9 3/8We made do but 2 chairs now lower than the rest.

Wrong item but might be able to use with a different chair.
