I love this so much I'm going to get another one. My personal opinion is that the blanket is surprisingly very soft to touch but reading the comments I was expecting something rough and scratchy. It's not rough in the least, maybe it feels rough after a while of lying on it with bare skin but that's not how I use it and I think it's very soft. Other comments were about the smell and how to get rid of it, it smells like wool, it's not unpleasant or that strong. I wouldn't like to wash the blanket as it would lose some of the properties it has being wool.

A heavy wool blanket, quite rough to the touch, but feels durable. Ideal car blanket.

Rather thin, so keep that in mind. Double it (fold) and you'll be fine in normal temps.I washed it on low because it had a chemical scent to it.
