Setup was very simple..comes with the trim tool for ease of wire installation and best of all comes with a 128gb of memory card. I didn’t have a problem with the wireless feature even though some of the reviews complained about it giving problems. What would have made the wireless even better is not to have to keep logging in whenever u wanted to access the camera videos or settings but not a major problem for me. All setup was flawless for me and accessing the videos on my phone was really nice looked clean…didn’t do any night driving as yet to comment on the night vision and I will probably use the rear camera for inside !!

When I received this dash cam, I had to pay an individual on the side, works at a shop, to install it. The evidently never read the directions. He put the camera that was not waterproof on the outside of the car, which caused blurry visuals while looking at them back camera. I didn’t know it was on an indoor camera so I wrote the Red tiger company.Absolute best company I have ever done business with especially through Amazon.Not only did they explain the problem I was incurring because the person I overpaid to install the dash cam and the rear cam did not read the directions into payment, but they then actually stayed in communication with me on a regular basis, Emma, from there, customer service team, was professional in our emails, polite, and descriptive on what to do, and she also asked my preference if I wanted him in Door back camera or an outdoor one/mini waterproof, I told her I had tinted windows and wasn’t quite sure if the indoor one would work. What did Emma do? She sent me an additional question in indoor and an outdoor camera Red tiger dash cam. I was able to do the reinstallation myself, and Emma was the biggest child I’ve had.Amazon has been slacking over the past few years. Therefore, I decided to email the company directly, and less amazed at the rapid response and help I have gotten. I highly highly recommend Red tiger, best customer service I’ve seen in years, incredibly educated on their product, and it was worth a penny if not more.Haven’t been more pleased with Amazon in at least five years thanks to Red Tiger and EmmaVery grateful, and the cameras work beautifully, and record regularly

During first trip there were problems with the camera cycling on and off. I got really frustrated. Contacted the factory and they made suggestions. I tried all their suggestions but did not fix problem. They promptly sent me a new camera. After working with the new camera I learned that the USB cable supplying power to the camera must be rated for power delivery, not just for data transfer. That might have been the problem with my first camera. The USB cable was a little too short so used a 1 ft extension for the USB cable. For the new camera installation, I routed their USB cable so I did not need the extension. The camera works well so far. Have only used it twice. ..... I must praise their customer service, they sent me a replacement camera quickly. ... I give 4 stars because instructions about using a power rated USB cable should have been in the product manual and the instructions from the factory.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've had one of these in my vehicles for the past six years. Florida heat, Maine cold, they always performed as advertised. In fact, one was used in court when someone rear ended me near a few years ago and reported that I slammed on the brakes. Saved my bacon that day! I bought this one for my new truck and passed the old one down to my son for his truck. Not really noticeable, dependable and invaluable when needed. Inexpensive insurance against fraud!

Great product but everyone should be aware that the 20' rear camera cable length is TOO SHORT for many SUV's and Trucks. It was too short, 3 to 5 feet, for a 2019 Honda Pilot. I've now had to order the 33' cable to replace the 20' original.
