Mounting bracket not Stainless steel (Jenn-Air gas cook top)

Mounting bracket not stainless steel--poor grade steel (magnetic test). It will corrode and cause no spark (ground contact will be broken) I use a coat of anti-corroding compound for longer life of ignitor.

THEY Work perfect!!! Exactly like factory! My Cheapy no brainer repair.

My old igniters were cracked and toast from corrosion (see pics old igniter sticking for ref.) just like the #%&!! iron screws. I like Jenn Aire BUT going cheap on proper stainless-steel screws is unacceptable low, no amount of effort except drilling, (the easiest way in my book) the heads off will get them off as their rust welded to the aluminum burners. Common were taking a few cents diff. in cost. Oh well that's my main beef, I hope this post helps others that have built in down draft stoves with same problem. My stove is about 13-15 years old. While I admire the those that want to take the top glass surface off remove the stove from its space remove front control etc. etc., I didn't. I just wanted to replace the igniters. Easiest way for me was drill screw heads off (use slightly larger drill than heads once their gone remove burner (they lift right up once heads are gone or might have to use a paint spatula to loosen and pry up the burner, do this with care), then unclip the old igniters and put on new ones. These replacements were not only perfect they were EXACTLY like old ones and maybe even better and certainly faster starting than my old ones. At about 10 bucks for 4 of them what a deal, with free super-fast shipping through my Amazon Prime, not a member you should be!!!! Underneath the burner is the gas flange LEAVE the old screw studs in gas flange sticking up as they become guides for new hole, then drill a new screw hole right next to them, like man, EASY and safe. I used some self-tapping hex metal screws( NO more cheap Philips heads easy way to go) with threads coated with anti-seize to resecure the old burner to the gas flange (see pics). So, for almost NO expense and a little effort I saved having to buy new burners and flanges and a lot of work to boot! They're Not cheap to replace, (burner drill damage is covered up anyway) I hope post helps. All the best!
