This desk is impressive. The desk is well build. I've purchase several desks similar to this one, but not as solid as this one. After assembly, you can tell from a fluffy feel, to a heavy solid piece stick tot he floor without going anywhere even if you give it a push. The tops are outstanding, Very shiny with high gloss. I'm using this unit for the receptionist, and she appreciate a lot the extra desk and draw on top of the hutch for storage, Plenty of space for paperwork, computer, printer and more.Get help to install it, like I said, is a heavy piece, and it takes about 2 hours to assemble. make sure you configure the middle piece depending on which side you want it, or if you want the middle piece to be a stand alone piece. I ended up installing it to the wrong side and for the wrong config. but not a big deal, it took me 5 minutes to see my mistake and corrected. The piece is very easy to take apart as well in case you move or make a mistake. Will buy again from this brand definitely.

First of all this Desk beat all my expectations, I don't normally write reviews for furniture but I am very impressed with the quality of this furniture, even tho it is compressed wood this is some of the best compressed wood i've seen in a long time, not like other compressed wood furniture you buy from other manufacturers this office desk is SOLID, and something that is rare the customer service with Cymax was excellent, so much so that I am looking at getting the bookshelf that goes with this... I basically bought this for my PC gaming, I have plenty of room to rest my arms for gaming with no strain and more than enough room for my feet for my rudder pedals when I play flight sim dog fighting although I enjoy FPS games. If you get this desk STUDY the instructions, there is a phone number to call for help, but if you can afford this desk than you are probably smart enough to put it together.

I thought I was missing pieces but they were in a box that came the following day. No pieces missing. Everything fit together nicely. You'll need a helper but I didn't find it difficult to assemble. Just give yourself a few hours. This is the best option to have an executive, professional desk in your home office.

For anyone looking for a large, heavy, and sturdy piece of office furniture I recommend this unit. It is very sturdy and beautiful. There is a high gloss finish that resists stains and scratches. The only caution I offer is that this is a HEAVY office set. If you are looking for a permanent piece of furniture that you will not need to move, this is a fantastic desk combination. The U-shaped desk offers essentially three distinct work areas for various projects. This is the only office set that I recommend to others. 5-stars!

Pretty solid desk, we are pleased with it! It was delivered on time and arrived in multiple heavy boxes. Thank God my husband is mechanically skilled because the desk and hutch took several hours to put together. The directions were not included in any of the packages but we called customer service and they quickly emailed a copy. We are completely satisfied and it looks great in our home office.

It will take a second person to help with most of the assembly but it is a great desk with more than enough room for any and all my needs!
