Q: After this applied, sanding and oil top coat goes on... will the gaps then be waterproof? It's on my kitchen floor so I'm worried about water damage.

It dries really hard , you must mix it in small amounts and work it in quite quickly . Leave it proud of the wood surface and fill even the smallest of gaps . Finishing sanding will give first class results which will all help to be waterproof The best finish is obtained by the best preparation Hope this helps Shaggy

Q: Can it be thinned out

As far as I know it can't be thinned out. I found it easy to use and it also filled gaps in a quite uneven floor (floor boards). It needs to be worked quite quickly. I laid around 2 sq ft at a time and found it allowed for some re positioning even after 20 minutes.

Q: Would it work with white wood flooring?

This product is totally clear like a clear vanish. You mix the sawdust of the wood you are using into it so that it matches the colour perfectly. Ours has been down 2 years and has not cracked at all in that time. Once mixed you have to use within about 15 minutes so we had to keep making up batches.

Q: Will it fix loose blocks

Hi Dawn, No Lecol 7500 when mixed with fine sanding dust is a gap filler only. I suggest you use Lecol 5500 to fix loose blocks first.
