First off they're not cheap and dont feel that way in your fingers. Heavy and durable and built for fathers or mothers who have the job of clipping your infant or toddlers nails. They're big enough that you maintain control, very sharp so you can get it done fast and are the right size head for babies pinky. The weight and surface area for handling make them safer to use than the tiny cheap ones in the grocery line checkout.

Great clippers that cut so smoothly. I do not appreciate cheap clippers and these are not cheap. Going to order several more for the holidays to share w family.

After a year of use, still as great as day one. I hardly remember to review anything because of the volume of products I buy but these clippers are worthy of my attention.

Save yourself a lot of frustration and just buy a nice pair of Japanese clippers. It may seem silly to pay more than a few dollars for clippers but considering clipping nails is something you have to do your entire life it makes sense to pay a little more and make clipping nails an easy job. These are super sharp and I like the bottom blade offset. It makes clipping kids nails much easier and safer as you just hook the bottom edge under their nail and cut knowing that you won't cut them.

First and foremost, the design and quality of these clippers appears to be great and they work perfectly fine.Another reviewer alluded to "owning a good set of Japanese clippers". I own a set of clippers that are made in Japan, and they are easily buy it for life. These clippers are in fact made in China. The Amazon listing does not give that information, but I took a gamble and ordered them anyway. I am keeping the clippers, because they seem really nice, but they are neither made in Japan nor Germany. Just an FYI.

Perfect size for a five year old who was getting too big for baby clippers. These are still protective for clipping too deep, yet are larger than Safety baby clippers.

Best cutter ever. Good for kids, easy to use and kids are happy to became more independent.
