Great coasters. Shipped fast, well packaged in bubble wrap sleeves and everything was intact. The laser (20W diode) etched on them nicely and they are touch lighter than the Maker version from Michaels. Also cheaper to buy at scale. about a $1 per coaster vs. $1.50 plus tax store bought. All and all a great deal and saving money on the purchase means I have a little room to experiment to get the affect I'm looking for. Great color, absorbs moisture well and drys very quickly. Little foam feet on the backside means they won't slip around or scratch up whatever surface they are on.

These are nice slate coasters. I ordered them for my Laser engraver. They came out nice. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because they varied in thickness. Some were 1/4" thick and some were 1/8". I feel like I couldn't give the customer the thinner ones as they seemed more prone to breaking.

So the reviews saying that "stain" easy are wrong. You do get a water ring from cold drinks quickly after it drys. But you just wipe it off with a damp rag and they look brand new. I've never had to scrub it. Just the same as basically every other non-wood coasters.The reviews saying they are dusty.. well wipe it down with a damp rag when you first get it. Never an issue again.Obviously they are long lasting.. it's the same stuff you see working as a roof on houses over 100 years old.The holder they send with it is a little flimsy but it's functional enough.It's true some wobble. It's an artifact that these are made of shale. And the bottoms will never be perfectly flat. Mine arnt bad enough that my drink wobbles on it. But if it's really annoying you remove the 4 foam feet and replace it with 3 stick on felt pads arranged in a triangle. 3 feet are more stable than 4 and it won't wobble at all.. then enjoy that you have a product that will out live you, your children and their children. so long as you don't drop them.I think they look classy. Great for a man cave or a fancy living room

Nice, heavy slate coasters ruggedly edged. I decaled them for gifts and they turned out beautifully.
