Excellent
I fitted these to my tanfoglio witness today. Just needed a little bit of alteration by use of a wood chisel and hammer. Simply chisel out the area that's raised on the gun where the co2 cartridge goes and slightly along the top of the left hand side grip where the springed pin for the slide lock is, also in this area slightly on the front of the grip so that the lock can move up and down to lock and also to be able to be removed for gun stripdown. Other side needs the same prosess for the co2 area and slight opening up on the small curve down the front side where the magazine release back plate is. I used a round wood file for this. Gun now looks awesome

Needed a bit of work but.....
....once completed the finished effect is f***ing amazing. Fitted them to my KWC 1911 WW1 CO2 BB Gun. Makes it look like a completely different gun. Well worth the 1hour 20mins it took to make them fit. You will need patience and don't rush. You'll be well rewarded. Good quality item well worth the money.

Don't match, lots of work
I had bought some nice wood to make my own (just haven't gotten round to it yet!).Then I saw the advert for these...I read the description, & found most of the replica Colt 1911's needed you to modify the grips... all except the 'Tanfaglio Witness' replica, & that was the exact one i wanted to replace the plastic grips it came with. So, i thought i would treat myself (and my Colt), & save myself some work. When the grips arrived, they were 2 completely different shades of brown, one light, one dark.I went to screw them on anyway, & discovered that they will NOT fit the 'Witness', without major alteration at all...I wish i had just made my own, as, at least they would have matched, & the amount of work involved in making them fit, would have been about the same...Very disappointedDo not buy unless you have the tools, & the ability to rework them... They will Not just screw on...Cmdr. Matty MayheM.

Great look
Bought them for a Swiss Arms P1911 ..They needed a bit more trimming than just for the gas bottle ..The left hand grip needed some work at the top before it fitted and the right hand grip needed trimming under the screw area before it settled flush. However eventually they sat fine.As Phillip said earlier .. use black boot polish on them and then they look GREAT ..Very happy with them.

Can't complain!!
Bought these for my .177 BB CO2 1911. They needed a little bit of coring out and tweaking to fit round the CO2 bulb "bulge", but that's no fault of the grips (which are made for a real 1911 after all). TIP: STAIN THESE GRIPS WITH BLACK SHOE POLISH TO MAKE THEM LOOK VINTAGE. Looks great. My only tiny gripe is that these grips are a bit thick.
