School girl/Zombie Hunter - PlayStation 4

Bought this game randomly just to have something new to play, and i absolutely love it! Great storyline. Had a couple friends buy a copy too.

I bought this game cuz of the anime girls and the guns. I think the Highschool of the Dead vibe is cool but the game itself has issues. The storyline isn’t really anything too special but that’s fine, I wasn’t really buying the game with that in mind. I think my biggest issue with the game is how when the other girls walk in front of you in a tight area you get stuck behind them, they block off where you want to go completely and you can’t move past them at all unless you move around and they end up moving out of your way but you’d have to be lucky for this to happen. I’ve had to restart Mayaya’s first mission several times because of this, I still didn’t complete it yet. The aim function is too loose, it’s kind of hard to achieve headshots because of this. I end up wasting bullets on less effective body parts of the zombies like their legs or torsos and a lot more zombies end up spawning while I’m trying to gun one down. Idk if anyone else feels this way but I really hate the markers for the items you’re supposed to find. I’m still on normal mode of Mayaya’s first mission and so far I was only able to find one key card, I was actually just about to restart the game because the other girls are in front of me and won’t move which caused me to be stuck. It’s so confusing to find things because so many stair cases are blocked off and the marker would lead you to a place that would make you swear the key card is in there but it isn’t? I keep checking in the bathrooms for a key card cuz I figured it would be in there since the marker tells me I’m getting closer to it but it’s not in there and the other characters block off the exit and I have to restart, I wish the girls ran faster too since I’m always running around looking for the stuff I’m supposed to find I end up being short on time, I don’t have this much trouble finding stuff in other games like AC Odyssey and others though so maybe I’m just bad at the game lol. For some reason I assumed there would be a single player vs bot free play mode (not campaign just a regular arcade mode or something like that, no missions included.) but there isn’t. The game seems to be pretty short, even though I’m struggling with 1-6 I’m almost done with the game already, I just started the game yesterday and there’s only 4 missions left.Summary:The girls are cute, but the gameplay isn’t the best. I can’t believe I almost bought this for 40+ dollars at one point. Definitely get the game cheap if you’re interested in playing it. The content is lacking it’s not worth splurging on. I wish these issue didn’t exist cuz I was really excited to play it. It’ll be a miracle if I can actually complete Mayaya’s level lol.

...School girls who can strp to their skimpy undies and throw there clothes to distract zombies? Seriously.

You play as a school girl and kill zombies. The game is good as a concept, but that's as far as this game is for "good". The game is worth $10 top.-Little variety of outfits/hair. More is sold as cheap DLC, but for a fanservice game, they definitely needed 100 more pieces.-Cutscene animations are few and awkward.-Gameplay animations are meh.-The game needs more soundtracks.-Your character is sluggish after moving away from aiming.-Aiming your gun simply zooms the camera in from where it normally is (like 25ft from character). The camera view can be obstructed from obstacles like during a Demon's Souls PS3 boss fight.-Fanservice game with 3rd person camera very far from your character. Can't see your character in action up close. A modern Resident Evil style camera would have been good to have as an option.-I accept the environmental graphics, but the characters look like they're made of plastic.-UI of the weapon selection menu could have been improved with sorting options.-I own a physical copy of the game and it's not worth owning one. The other side of the cover is plain white paper. The manual is in black and white and is only like eight pages long.

If you like Zombies, Guns, and Cute Girls you absolutely can not go wrong with this game. This is not a game meant to be taken seriously at all. There’s just something surreal about a team of girls in their underwear blowing up zombie hoards. Yep. Stripping off your uniform is a gameplay mechanic meant to distract male zombies. It’s one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen in a game, but in this game, it works.Main criticism of the game is that the aiming could have been better. Feels too loose, and in fact I mostly use shotguns to make up for that. But the game is good enough overall to overcome the frustration of using certain types of guns.Highly recommend play if you’re the type of person who finds fun in putting your tough as nails warrior in skimpy clothing when given that option. That’s this game in a nutshell. Pure Bliss.

Really fun game. A cool classic to play. Old school

Been an Onechanbara fan forever, and this concept looked like great fun. But after 2 hours of playing, I simply could not do it any longer. The graphics are bad, only the girls are drawn competently, the backgrounds and the enemies are the bottom of the barrel. The shooting controls are terrible, and I do mean terrible. The guns handle horribly, hit detection is spotty, moving is cluncky, and the enemy AI is non-existant. I got stuck on a level because and enemy got stuck on the other side of a wall in an area that could not be accessed by the player. Music and sound is forgettable, and there is an overwhelming sense of lacking content.The trailer I saw is NOT for this game. This game has no redeming qualities, and only serves to oggle poorly drawn highschool girls and believe me, it will not even deliver that.It gets two stars because the game is functional if nothing else. It plays and progresses just by numbers alone. However, it is not enjoyable in any manner. You may think this is some kind of horde mode with schoolgirls, but it is not. Avoid at all costs and get Onechanbara instead, Senran Kagura, Earth Defense Force 4.1 or anything else really. Very dissapointed.

School Girl Zombie Hunter es un juego exclusivo de Playstation 4 Desarrollado por Tamsoft misma compañia que desarrolla Onechanbara.El juego en si se trata de 5 chicas que estan en un instituto japones, el cual tienen que sobrevivir a una horda de zombies.Hay que tener en mente y ser abiertos de que estamos en un titulo de bajo presupuesto, asi que habra menus sencillos, graficos de ps3, algunos errores de sonido, errores de I.A. Amiga y Enemiga, errores de Frames per Second, una historia muy basica, con algunas repeticiones de misiones y una gran actuacion de voz japones con fan service.El control al principio es dificil, debido al mal mapeado de configuración, pero con el tiempo se acostumbra.Uno de los contra que encuentro al titulo es que tiene un cronometro para concluir la mision, lo cual considero que le resta exploracion (vacia de escenarios a fin de cuentas) pero limita la jugabilidad.Las protagonistas, no varian mucho ya que puedes equiparlas con las mismas armas a todas, si tienes en mente en esto, recomiendo que cuando sea posible solo te quedes con una protagonista con su dicha arma, de lo contrario se pierde la gracia en la variabilidad de seleccion de las protagonistas.Es Semejante a peliculas japonesas de bajo presupuesto como Tokyo Gore Police, asi que no habra una historia desarrollada, sino acción y gore.Incluso con la premisa de pertenecer al universo de Onechanbara, no es excusa de que reciclen las mismas pistas de canciones como se vieron en onechanbara z2 chaos son las mismas sin remixes o modificacion alguna.En conclusion, si esperan un Uncharted o un juego que explote los graficos de ps4, eviten este titulo que les dara un mal sabor de boca, si son del publico que quiere propuestas diferentes, con tramas fuera de lo comun, abiertos en mente de que es un titulo de bajo presupuesto, les gusta el gore y las peliculas de japon con accion, puede gustarles el titulo, puede ser su juego siempre y cuando cueste menos de 400$.

Llegó antes de tiempo, me encanta como el roll de juego que va uno tomando con diferentes chicas y distintas armas.

Un excelente juego de su tipo, no es un Senran Kagura 0ero se defiende, los controles y la jugabilidad creo que están bien para ser una desarrolladora underground, tiene fan service, los trofeos vienen en japonés pero el juego viene subtitulado al inglés, no tiene opciones como modificar idioma pero es entretenido, el juego llegó antes de lo esperado y en excelentes condiciones
