Regret buying
Handle caught fire first time I used it (surely a fire retardant plastic should have been used?) and the spout ‘dribbles’ coffee over my countertop when I tilt to pour as the cast hasn’t been finished.

Doesn’t pour - spills
I usually have the bialetti coffee makers but thought this would be handy because of the glass. The glass is useless because of the steam which wouldn’t have bothered me too much, however when you pour from this, coffee spills down the sides and doesn’t pour cleanly from the spout.

Just the job and works well.
This is just the right size for two nice cups of espresso.

Good Design
Very attractive design, less angular than most Moka pots, but it still feels very sturdy. It makes a very good cup of coffee, and quickly, and is very easy to clean. The viewing window in the lid is a nice touch, although it steams up pretty quickly when you use the pot, so once the coffee starts coming through into the upper chamber you still have to lift the lid to check if it's done. Despite this, I'd still recommend it, particularly for this price.

Excellent, easy to use espresso maker
I threw one of these stovetop espresso makers out years ago and now realise the error of my ways!My husband bought this Aerolatte MokaVista and we haven't looked back. It is really good quality aluminium and looks great on the kitchen side -very retro looking. The instructions are very easy to follow - fill the bottom section with water (there is a maximum line), drop the funnel section in, add coffee, screw top chamber on and place upon heat. It couldn't be any easier. The clear viewing chamber is excellent as you can see as soon as the coffee has been brewed - no peeking required and therefor the coffee stays at the right temperature. The handle stays cool to touch, so no accidental burns, and it is easy to pour with no drips. It is also really easy to clean. I have also heated up some milk and frothed and added this to the coffee and made a Latte - wonderful. The only thing I would say is that if you have a gas hob like I do you will need a 'reducer ring' as without this it would have been teetering on the edge and unsteady.
