Useful to keep in the car, but especially good for dog walks at night. But be aware the beam is VERY bright. Don’t shine in peoples eyes or directly at the dog.The torch offers a very wide field of light which reassures me when I am walking alone as I can see all around me. It is not too heavy but is well made and feels robust.Also the beam can be narrowed to pinpoint an area or object and I guess the flashing mode could also be useful in an emergency.I bought myself both sizes of this torch - and then one for my daughter, who was also extremely impressed.I have now ordered several more to use as presents. The price makes this an affordable, good quality gift.

Needed a new torch to replace a small version of Magna Light that after years of use finally failed. Was going to replace with another of the same brand, but having seen this torch pop up in the amazon search, it seemed to have everything the Magna Light did but a lower cost. Came with great reviews too.This torch is small, no bigger than my hand. Torch switches on at the bottom so unlikely to accidentally switch off in use when held in the hand. Has a multi function light where the beam width can be adjusted to zoom in and out where required and also has a flashing mode. Came with a USB cable for charging, but no plug for wall charging. Therefore you'd need to buy one or connect to a laptop or a mobile phone charger with a detachable plug. For such a small torch it emits a massive amount of bright cool LED white light. Grandson loves it and though only a toddler is fascinated by it and after only once has perfected the knack of turning it on with the button and able to change though the different modes to switch off with no help. Will buy him his own one if I can get it at the same price as I paid for this one.Our intended use was for general maintenance, excellent as has a wrist strap to prevent dropping. Would be ideal for night time dog walkers to carry or fit in a pocket, or carry on the wrist for personal safety (has an SOS flashing mode).Came charged. Lasted a while before discharge mostly during during play. Red light shows whilst charging, green when fully charged. Small size means it can be tucked away conveniently in a drawer for when needed.A nifty little torch, easy to use, value for money and a big bonus it isn't another in the list of household items that needs to have batteries to hand!
