Maisy's Big Flap Book Pop-Up – 2 July 2007

Very big and sturdy, perfect for little fingers. There is a lot of flaps and very educational. There's colours and numbers and opposites and lots of exposure to language with a flaps to make it fun and interesting. Me and my daughter love this book and discussing it together.

This is a nice thick book with lots of pages to look at. My toddler loves Lucy Cousins and we have a lot of her books. She does nice simple wording and brilliant bold illustrations with thick outlines that my children have all loved. This book has a different theme on each page, such as weather or numbers, and lots of little chicks to find. A good book for building vocabulary and enjoying Lucy Cousins' striking illustrations.

This book has lots of flaps and colourful pictures to keep our 15 month old entertained. I particularly like the fact that there's more than one thing to explore on each page and is larger than most of our other lift the flap books. The only downside is that initially the flaps are very stiff which meant our little one would get frustrated or bored. This seems to be improving with time however.

We are big fans of the Maisy book series. They are fun and educational. I would recommend these as they can be read over and over. The flap book is especially good as it combines learning with the fun of lifting flaps which my little boy really seems to enjoy. The book is sturdy and so far it has survived several reads and being dragged around very well.

My daughter loves loves this book. She is 22 months and its the first book she wants to read before bedtime. Love the Maizy books.

bought this for my granddaughter who is nearly 2. She loves all the flaps and the various topics have kept her interest, even though we have read it many times already.

My kid loves these books. Interactive and engaging.

I libri di Maisy sono sempre belli e curati e questo non e' da meno. molto carino ed educativo, ci sono i numeri (fino al 5), le forme (ovale, rotondo, quadrato.. ) e alcuni concetti semplici come secchio pieno, secchio vuoto. Prodotto con cartone spesso e molto resistente anche per manine forzute. Assolutamente consigliato.

Lots of flaps, yes, and the usual lovely pictures and story. We all enjoy it. (If only it would last longer and not be destroyed by curious little hands grabbing the paper flaps.)

Unser Sohn liebt Maisy! Mit einem Jahr hat er von den Großeltern -mitgebracht aus UK- sein erstes Maisy-Flap-Book geschenkt bekommen...Mit 15 Monaten sind die Maisy-Bücher nicht mehr aus unserem Haushalt wegzudenken (wir müssen sie ungefähr 20x/Tag gemeinsam ansehen, jedes einzelne). Die Flaps (Klappen) machen ihm großen Spaß (sie sind auch relativ stabil).Diese Buch ist wohl der Ferrari unter den Maisy-Flap-Books, es war unser Ostergeschenk und noch immer sind wir dabei, täglich neues zu entdecken.
