Packaging uses a staple through the gloves!
My wife (who has quite small hands) reports that the gloves fit well, although we haven't yet tried them for an extended period of pond clearing. However they lose a star because of a silly packaging fault. The gloves are held together by a cardboard label attached to the upper ends by.... a staple. Sticking a staple through material that's supposed to remain waterproof seemed just dumb. Admittedly the staple hole is at the top (upper arm) end of the gauntlet so may not be a huge issue, but I worry about the manufacturing standards of a company that puts staples through material that's supposed to stay waterproof. An equivalent pair of mens gloves from a different supplier on Amazon used a stick-on label which seemed much more sensible.

Ideal; even though tight as confirmed by others, they have still been excellent
These (Ladies Pond) gloves are perfect for my needs as a volunteer, testing for river fly larvae in a small W. London river. Yes, they are quite tight as many reviewers have commented, and I have reasonably slim arms... HOWEVER, they still fit over a shirt, jumper and large waterproof coat. On top of that, because of the tighter fit, I didn't get wet when I tripped over a stone and fell into about 18 inches of cold and silty water last month - result! Ps my waders though cheap, were excellent too, stocked by, but not bought from Amazon.I have just taken the attached photo in order to show the gloves over my coat! and I have to confess that the tightness was unpleasant! BUT when I was wearing my jumper as described above, they were honestly great. So I guess the jumper acted as soft padding, and I certainly had no discomfort when I used them for real. (apologies if the photo appears upside down - it wasn't before uploading)

Good for small hands doing pond work
These are a good size for my small hands. I'm a small and slim person, and I find the elastic at the top much too tight - really difficult to get up my arms (even bare arms) so I shall be removing the elastic or replacing it with some that is looser. They are ideal for pond work but what you gain in the waterfproofing you inevitably lose in digital flexibility. I would buy them again.

Good size, not sure about the quality
I have small hands so was delighted when these gloves fitted well enough for me to at least be able to grasp things.Unfortunately the seams of one of the gloves broke open the second time I wore them. I have glued it but not sure how well that will hold.

Great gloves, fingers too short for L hands.
Great quality product and good value for money. These are a much better fit for ladies than the generic ones Iv tried (so far ordered and returned 4 other types of these gloves in search of a good fit). Unfortunately iv had to return these too due to sizing. I am a size 9 (L) in rubber gloves with long fingers and whilst these are a good fit for my palms the fingers are about 2cm too short leaving me with webbed hands so I cant move my fingers well for the intended purpose. I feel these would be perfect for ladies who wear M (size 8) rubber gloves with average length fingers. Hope my review helps others to find correct size I'm still on the hunt :)

Very slim fitting on the hands
As others have mentioned, these are very slim fitting on the hands....I certainly wouldn’t be able to undertake any fine work in them due to them being slightly restrictive, but fine for pulling bits out of the pond. Good strong gloves, although I don't think I’d buy these again as I do prefer them a little roomier for movement.

Seams failed so no longer watertight
I was initially very pleased with these gloves as they were longer than others and fitted my small hands well.Unfortunately the seams were poorly constructed (minimal glueing) and quickly opened at various points meaning they stopped being waterproof after only a few uses.I've attempted to re-glue and tape the seams until I am able to source better quality replacements.

Would not buy again
These what I would describe as ok. Not the best quality but do the job, though for how long is questionable. Would not buy again.
