GSI CreosMr. Procon Boy LWA Trigger Type Airbrush, 0.5mm

Well packaged, the airbrush has a nice feel to it and fits in to your hand comfortably. This comes with a hose and an adaptor to be used with canned air, you do not need this for using with an air compressor. This airbrush has a 0.5mm needle/nose combination together with the large cup can put out a lot of paint. the fan cap gives line pattern while spraying and the other cap gives a round pattern. I find it very easy to clean at the end of the spraying session. I purchased the handle for this airbrush which easier to use for longer sessions.

I purchased this, having seen reviews, for its ability to put down a bigger paint spray pattern which is ideal when covering larger surfaces or applying a varnish layer.The plus point buying via Amazon was the amazing price difference between Amazon and the next liwest priced online retailer.This is my first airbrush by Proccon Boy but have to say the build quality and performance is wonderful. I did read that these airbrushes are made in the same factory as Iwata - i have no evidence either way to support that.If there is one addition i would suggest is needed its the handle that is sold as a stand alone product. That makes using this trigger based airbrush so much easier.

Nice machine but way too pricey but worth it

Superficially a well finished product - unfortunately the needle was seized in the airbrush body - on removing the spray head the ( unplated ) brass nozzle assembly was a badly tarnished black colour. Something had been left in the Airbrush during manufacture that had discoloured the brass - why the assembly was not chrome plated like the rest of the airbrush is puzzling , maybe because it is covered by the crown cover and not normally visible.The needle was removed undamaged and was polished and lubricated.The discolouration of the nozzle assembly took 20 minutes of polishing with a felt mop on the dremel to remove the black etched colour - fortunately no apparent damage to the nozzle itself and all was well upon re-assembly and lubrication of the airbrush.Should not have to do this level of fettling to an airbrush of this quality - one slipped through the net Creos !This is an excellent mini spray gun and airbrush combo, but to enjoy full functionality the pistol grip is an essential accessory - and should be supplied as standard - without the grip the ergonomics do not provide proper control of the airbrush, and at £30 it is £20 too expensive.Overall a recommended purchase, I should have returned the thing but 20 minutes spent fettling and finessing is less hassle - hopefully you will get a perfect one.

I purchased this GSI CREOS PS-290 AIRBRUSH for its wide spray Fan Head .I'm an Acrylic Artist & Needed another Airbrush With a Large Needle - Nozzle set up to put down Backgrounds on to my canvas Art & this Bad boy does a Great job WITH ITS 0.5 NEEDLE.It does Take A while to get used to the trigger control But after 4 - 5 practice runs on some cardboard you get the hang of it!!! I'm so used to the Top finger triggers.It is Extremely well Made & a Nice WEIGHT in the hand 🤘I like the fact that the IWATA parts fit this.... I Purchased a Handle from IWATA separately to fit this Airbrush 👌 much nicer feel in the hand with a Handle on .Easy to clean & no worries about Damaging the needle as it's a Good thick needle size 👍 Also the cup can be screwed off to give it a good Clean .The front end is changeable from a Fan pattern to a Round pattern which is simple to do just by unscrewing the Round nut & changing heads !!!I have a SPARMAX TC-610H COMPRESSOR With a 2.5L Tank & this Brush works Great for my Art needs 🖌🎨I'm Extremely Happy with this Airbrush & would Definitely recommend It to others .I had a look on other sites but Amazon at the time of purchase was the cheapest place to get it & I'm glad I did because it arrived very quickly !!!Good bit of kit at a Great Price 👍I've uploaded some pictures so you can take a closer look .I Hope Someone Has Found This Review Helpful.
