Sturdy, easy to assemble
This is a well-made stand which holds my LG 43UR78006LK (43”) TV easily (200x200 VESA). It allows me to have the TV at a good viewing angle compared to just using the TV’s built in feet, as they are at the ends of the TV.Once installed the rotation is smooth and easy and the various adjustments for height and tilt allow good fine tuning of position. Assembly was easy enough if you pay attention to orientation of components, with all parts in numbered blister packs.

The Best Moveable TV stand if come across
As i watch 3D alot i have to be sat fairly straight on right angle to the TV and this allows me to angle the TV perfectly of laying in bed and sitting up.The instructions were a bit silly with the hole drawn in the wrong place but took an hour to complete and work out in the end.Other than that its well worth the money after trying lots of stands not nearly as adjustable as the angles on this one!

Really first rate and just the job!
Really first rate and just the job!The short story is that I'm very pleased with this stand and it has proved to be all I hoped it would be. I recommended it to my Dad and he's bought one too and is just as pleased. Read on if you'd like to know more about my installation, experience and views in detail.I've fitted it to my LG OLED55E6 which is pretty light for a 55 inch TV (about 17kg). It's also a bit odd shaped, in that the back sticks out at the rear bottom edge (for the built-in 'soundbar' speaker) and the VESA holes are low down. This meant I had to cut down the vertical bracket arms a bit - about 50mm or so off the bottom - in order to fit it. I expect most TV's won't have this problem though and it will fit as it comes. A bit of work with a hacksaw and metal file and the fit is spot on.I have the bracket on the lowest bolt holes of the stanchion (the upright post of the stand) and the bottom of my (lovely!) LG TV is ~165mm above the top of my TV bench. There is 70mm of distance between the stanchion's height adjust bolt holes (of which there are 3 pairs) so there's plenty more room for adjustment. The bracket arms also have lots of holes in giving more room for adjustment. I wanted to raise my TV enough to have a good sized centre speaker on the top of the TV bench under the TV. This stand does that with room to spare. I was concerned that this would have the TV too high above eye level when seated, hence the tilt option was key too. As it's turned out I've not needed to use the tilt feature yet, but it's there if I need it.Positives are:- The construction is really solid, well engineered and thought out. The finish is good too and looks clean, attractive and neat, especially the black glass topped base (the lower part and majority of which is solid steel) which matched my TV stand perfectly and looks pretty classy to me (if black glass is your thing).- all the parts are well packed and labelled - especially the various screws, bolts and washers which are in separate labelled clear pockets within a main plastic bag. So there are no loose pieces to try and sort out and figure what goes where!- I like that you can separately attach the vertical bracket arms to the TV and then lift this onto the constructed stand or, as I did, slide the rest of the stand on when the TV is horizotal (on it's front and raised enough) then tilt the whole assembly up then lift into place. This really helped installation, espcially if, like me, you only have one pair of hands!- the swivel function is very smooth and light to operate and moves through the full 90 degs as advertised. Before it was constructed I tried turning the swivel base part by hand and it's difficult to do so, so I thought it might be stiff in operation, but it is not. There's enough resistance so it is not loose and feels reassuringly stable, but not too much so that it does not turn easily. Good engineering! - it came with a good assortment of screws and spacers (if needed) to attach the brackets to the TV's VESA holes (mine needed 4No. M6x20mm and no spacers). At first I thought I must have gone wrong with so many screws left over...So no trip to Screwfix was required! The Negatives are:- The instructions could be clearer, the diagrams are very small and more detail would be better. I made a few false steps which I think clearer instructions would have avoided.- I struggled initially to realize that the circular swivel base part actually comes apart into 3 parts which you need to separate in order to assemble; a solid metal disc which bolts to the main stanchion, a plastic disc which bears on the (glass) base top to allow the swivel action, and a plastic collar that covers this assembly up. The instructions did not make this clear as a necessary first step. Discussing this with my Dad he stumbled at the same point. - Next it was not at all clear to me which direction the solid metal disc part attached to the stanchion as it's bolt holes are parallel to the face of the stanchion, not front and back. Predictably I managed to attach it back to front! As I'd also managed to round slightly one of the attaching bolts allen key hole during this (wrong) assembly I had a moment of panick before I managed to disassemble it, then re-assemble correctly. A simple arrow stamped on the part - referenced clearly in the instructions - would have avoided this. As it is, you have to look very carefully at the rather small pictures in the instructions and infer from the holes on the metal disc which is front and which is back. Maybe this is just me, but it caught me out. After this the rest of the assembly went OK.- The stanchion plastic cap is loose and forever falling out - leave this right to the end of assembly! It's only a cosmetic part in any case, but it could fit better- the allen key it comes with for assembly is a bit short to get good torque and no precision tool IMO. I was happier working with a decent allen key set I have in my toolkit, and I'd recommend this if you have the option, though care needed in this case to not overtighten or strip a thread. - I have some concerns that the swivel discs metal part - the main structural part holding the stanchion and, ultimately, my precious TV (!), to the stand base - only attaches with two rather small short bolts (M6x20mm I'd guess) which are parallel to the length of the stand. I'm a structural engineer so I know something about connections - this is parallel to and right on the axis of bending and so not ideal. I would've liked to see at least three bolts and preferrably four closer to the front and back of the stanchion - off and on either side of the main bending axis. Admittedly it feels secure enough when assembled, but I'm nervous trusting my TV to just those two smallish bolts. The rest of the stand is bomb proof looking, but if it's going to fail I think that's where it could. For this reason I'm not sure I would trust this stand with a TV much heavier than mine (which is pretty light for its size).Hence on balance I give this product 4 stars. It is certainl as described and doing the job I wanted. I knock off 1 star for the - in my view - slighly poor assembly instructions. I was tempted to dock another star for what might be a slighly weak link with the stanchion to base connection but this might be just my paranoia and so maybe not fair. Hopefully the manufactures have tested it properly to its stated capacity of 40kg and it'll be ok! I hope anyone reading this far found that interesting/useful.

Very sturdy, very well designed, looks great.
I don't normally write reviews but I'm so impressed by this stand that I'm going to write one.I was a little concerned by how cheap this was when I inherited my Dad's gold bezel Samsung 50" TV with no stand. A TV like this deserves a classy base. And I bought just that. Bought this on the back of good reviews and I have to say, I'm so impressed. The glass base looks great and classy, the whole unit is very, very sturdy and well designed. There's loads of fasteners for different TV sizes Assembly is a doodle. The adjustment is great, the stand tilts and rotates very smoothly. Cables clip to the back so are out of sight.I cannot recommend this enough. You could easily walk into Currys or Argos and spend 2x to 5x as much on an inferior stand.I am so pleased with this. Fabulous.

Good product but not for larger (50") heavy plasmas
Good quality product. However there are some issues. My tv is 50" and although it holds the tv up the balance is very precarious and I have resorted to anchoring the tv to the wall in case it falls over forward. It wants to fall forward without much effort. There's appear to be no way to compromise against and therefore doesn't generate my confidence in the product. I would not buy again unless for a smaller or lighter tv.

Not so difficult to build...just tiny diagrams
I bought this for my 49” Samsung TV whose original stand dwarfed my tv unit. In short, it’s a well made stand with good swivel and tilt actions and a relatively small, neat footprint. The instructions I found were pretty clear but they really would benefit from being printed on A4 size paper. It’s the small nature of the diagrams that present the only issues with building the unit. If it helps, there are useful videos on YouTube. I am pleased with this stand which is an ideal size to be placed on top of a soundbase. My tv is at the top end of recommended sizes but there is no issue with lack of stability or with the unit's ability to provide a secure stand. I would heartily recommend this stand for everyone who finds their new tv to be on a gargantuan stand that is impractical for use on their media unit!

Premium stand for an affordable price!
After having read Mr Gumby’s review (I bought the same television, LG 49SJ800V) I decided to purchase this stand. It arrived in a timely fashion, even with the Easter bank holiday in the middle and was very easy to set up. I did have to go to Screwfix, though, as due to the fact that I used 25mm worth of spacers I needed longer screws to screw the brackets to the TV. I bought M6 x 50mm which appear to be sufficient (they are the same length as the M8 screws provided, however the correct diameter for this tv). The adjustable height, angle and swivel base also gives it 5 thumbs up from me!
