Makes good filter coffee, easy to use. It's a little messy to clean - I am tending to rinse/clean it manually after each use, although perhaps once or twice week I give it a deep-clean by putting it into the dishwasher. The metal mesh I think leaves the coffee with a very slightly greater depth of favour than is obtained by using paper filters and the coffee remains pretty clear, so long as an appropriate grind of coffee is used, medium-grind rather than more finely ground such as used for making espresso (I have another espresso coffee maker for that). It seems of good, robust quality so should last for a number of years I think, but I still occasionally use disposable paper filters for more convenience if I'm in a hurry. Very happy with it, and it fits my filter coffee machine very well.

Perfect for Melitta look IV, just the right size! Seems very durable as well, highly likely that will last longer than a plastic version. Great buy, highly recommend for Melitta machines if you don't want disposable filters occasionly splitting on you, and you want stronger coffee, since this will let more taste through!

Have now stopped using paper filters altogether. I use a size 4 hand held cone and this fits it perfectly. As other reviewers have mentioned more smaller particles pass through compared with using paper filters but they sink to the bottom and I don't find it a problem at all. If I felt strongly enough about it I guess I could get my coffee ground more coarsely but, frankly, its not worth the effort.

I have a Delonghi coffee machine and got so fed up with the paper filters doubling over and making a mess of my counter with the coffee going everywhere except in the pot! I measured it up and even though I did think it would be a little bit too high (which it is), with a little gentle manoeuvring it fits without sticking when opening and closing the filter door. I wasn't able to find a reusable filter that stated it fitted a Delonghi, so this is fabulous and filters coffee like a dream. No more rubbish paper filters and no more mess. Very happy.

Bought this to avoid using paper filters in our Melitta LOOK V and it works well. You have to slightly bend the rim of it to make it fit but it is very snug and all the water seems to go into it and through the coffee fine. Looks good quality and we leave it on top of the unit when not in use so it doesn't put pressure on the unit all the time. Very pleased.

Excellent filter. I have used it often. It's easy to empty and clean. It fits into my Melitta Aromafresh bean to cup coffee machine perfectly.

I was getting sick of throwing my paper filters in the bin and wondered if I could find a reusable one! And this solves the solution! Tastes perfect. Easy to clean. Coffee grounds go on the garden and I now no longer through the paper filters in the bin! It is one of my better purchases from Amazon!

An excellent product. Easy to use, can be washed by hand or in dishwasher. Helps environment as no need to purchase or dispose of paper coffee filters. Coffee flavour is excellent. Used coffee grounds can be added to garden compost.

The media could not be loaded.  Hier schreibe ich über meinen neuen Kaffee Dauerfilter in der Größe Nummer 4, er passt wie auf den Bildern zu sehen sehr gut in den Filterhalter meiner Philips Café Gaja Maschine.Er ist nach dem Gebrauch sehr leicht unter fließendem Wasser zu reinigen, ich schlage den Kaffee zuerst über dem Bioeimer aus und Spüle ihn dann mit warmen Wasser unter dem Wasserhahn aus. Ich bin rundum zufrieden da der Kaffee meines Erachtens sogar besser schmeckt. Er ist gut verarbeitet und sollte doch noch etwas mit ihm passieren würde ich ihn mir wieder kaufen.
