Fun and full of features
Almost like a micro:bit but rp2040 instead. Works with all micro:bit accessories that i have, including all my expansion boards. Love it.

Very nice low-cost microcontroller
I tried the Pico:ed with the elecfreaks cutebot robot and the elecfreaks infrared remote, programming it in microPython.Works nicely.I especially like its nice display and hope the BBC:mocrobit adapts a similar design.I contacted elecfreaks about a few issues:a. the IR Remote handler library routine should return immediately with an indicator if no button was pressed. Currently it waits for a key pressb. I coudn't fgure out how to boot a microPython program on the Pico:ed and can only run programs via Thonny on a laptop.c. The Pico:ed would be much easier to use if it was shipped fully configured, including circuitPython and all library routines, and if sample programs were included in a samples directory ready to try.

Nice Micro Controler
This is a very nice micro controler and at a very resonable price. It is easy to program (code) and, with all of the information on the web, there are a lot of projects that a person can experiment with.

Fun little controller.
It would be nice if there was documentation and exercises with the board. I had to go to a web site to find out how to program it. Once it was up I could do quite a few things. The rp2040 processor has an internal clock module. It would be nice to know how to access it.
