Kindeep G4 COB LED 1.5 W Replacement 10 Watt Halogen Light Bulb, 100 Lumens Pin-Base Light Bulb, Warm White 2800 K, DC/AC 12 V, Pack of 6 [Energy Class A+]

We have a floor standing light with six fluted light fittings which came with standard halogen G4 bulbs. We tend to use it more than the big light (I can’t say that without thinking of Peter Kay) so really we needed to replace them with LED bulbs. It took a bit of research but these bulbs seemed to have the most positive feedback. They were relatively cheap so you do wonder how good they’ll be but I took a punt and I’ve been very pleased by the result. Almost immediate light (slightest of delays) and a solid consistent light. No flickering or sound.I’ll note that I did try the bulbs in another light fitting which is on a dimmer slider switch. There was a definite but slight flicker with the switch set to full light, worsening to a nausea inducing disco at lower light. It doesn’t advertise itself as being suitable for a dimmer controlled switch so I’m not marking it down, but I thought I’d mention it in case you thought they may be suitable.

Even though they are the same width and height as a standard halogen g4, the girth of the bulb is a lot wider so may not fit in tight enclosures. But they fit my under cabinet triangle light fittings.However a downside in my set up is that these bulbs start flashing after a couple of minutes, it's probably the power supply to the LED bulbs - I won't be changing that so I've had to revert the bulbs back to halogens and won't be using these. It's a shame as I thought these would genuinely be straight swap with no power issues. Other installations may be more successful.

Tried to use these as replacement lights inside a bathroom mirror (to replace the original 8x 10w bulbs) but after a period of use the 8x led lamps flash on & off very rapidly, which I guess is due to their relatively very low power draw upsetting the original transformer, so now I need to replace that too - eg 12w LED Driver Transformer.

Bought the KINDEEP COB G4 led Bulbs to replace the 12v 10 watt bulbs in the main cabin lights on my boat. What an unbelievable difference the have made ! a nice bright white light and lower power consumption. It's a win - win for me ! EXCELLENT !!! Definitely recommend and will buy again 👍🙂

Bought these to replace older halogens.It's hard to write something illuminating about a lightbulb, but it just works. You flick a switch, and it comes on. Depending on your circumstances they may not be as bright as you expect - I wouldn't say these are equivalent to a 10w halogen, but that could be the room they're in.

I bought these LED bulbs to replace my old ones because some of it doesn’t work. The package, at first sight looks like a small colourful chocolate bar. It bulbs fit perfectly in the slots. It gives a very bright light. When I need it I will buy it again.

Excellent quality and don't get very hot so must be more efficient than halogen. Just be warned they don't dim well, and stuff designed for halogen may be unhappy with how little energy these use and turn off!

Not happy!! They are not as good as the halogen.Light is very poor and colour is not worm white!Maybe cold white...Very disapointedDon’t buy this spec, maybe a bigger watttage
