My Arduino Mega simply snapped in place and is a perfect fit. The lid also snapped on and is also a nice fit. Would buy again.

Nice protection box for MEGA cards, with still great access to all the inputs and outputs

Although designed for the MEGA board, I'm using it for a UNO which fits very well width-wise into the enclosure. There is, however, about 2mm of play lengthwise as you plug in and out.The slots in the top of the case give access to all the headers on the board. The switch actuator (it's not an actual switch) is situated off the end of the UNO board.In my view £6.99 is a bit pricey for this case, hence only 4 stars, but hopefully that price will come down as turnover increases. At the moment, however, I'd be inclined to adapt a standard enclosure if I need any more.

On the face of it, this case is really good value. The plastic is pretty clear (other colours are available) and the two halves snap together with a positive feel.REALLY bad news; once you have clicked your Arduino into the bottom half of the case (again, positive feel and held secure) the lid is too tall and once attached it is IMPOSSIBLE to attach any shield board.Access to the I/O pins using the normal Dupont connectors is fine, the slots in the case lid give easy access, but shield pins do not even reach the board connectors.Its a shame, if the lid had been made slightly shallower, this would be an excellent case for a MEGA 2560 board. As it is, I have discarded the lid and will use the bottom half of the case to protect my board and my desktop from scratches!

It fits well with the Arduino board. It serves protecting the board from dust and some mechanical damages

The case fitted well and will be fine unless it is for use with a shield.The case top is too far above the tops of the pins to allow the shield to fully engage. The SPI connector will not engage at all and the shield pins barely make contact. In addition the base of the shield presses down on the reset button extender on the case. The standard Dupont connectors can be used just fine, though, again the SPI connector is far enough down that the plug has to be pulled off using the leads.

There is nothing detrimental I can write about this product. I wish I had bought this before buying the one which cost 4 times as much including p+p previously which didn't even fit the controller, and had fixing holes missing.

Does not fit my Arduino mega at all.

I have an "Inland" brand of the Arduino Mega. This brand of the Mega fits in perfectly tight without any slop. Just make sure to push the Mega all the way down into the base of the case so that the Mega board is resting on each of the 4 internal supports of the base. Then snap on the cover and its a perfect fit. Even the reset button is perfectly aligned and seated right on top the button with no slop.

Muy bien acabada, la placa encaja perfectamente, las ranuras que tiene permite la conexión con el exterior y a la vez protegerla.

Cheap plastic. Arduino mega does not fit tight. Impossible to use a shield with this box. Total waiste of money.
