The button is so satisfying to clear everything! The beads are small but I have kind of tiny fingers so it’s not a problem. It’s all plastic with dot points on the dividing bar.

I was so excited to get it hoping to improve my skills in math only to be furious about this was a scam. You can barely movethee buttons whithout almost breaking it I cant believe them there wasn't even a good thing about it the product is a lie and so are the people who says its a good product let down

I've always been fascinated with abacus, and I have a few but nothing with more than 11 columns. This 17 column model is just great, and is made well with durable parts. All the beads are consistent, with no sharp seams, and the slider posts seem plenty tough. The push button that slides the beads into the zero position works well and seems sturdy too. It is very sensitive, requiring very little energy to move the beads, which is great in practice, but it means you need a very level surface to use this on. I confess that I mostly got this for the novelty of having an abacus. Of course, a higher end abacus would be made out of wood, but this is ABS plastic. Still, it seems quite sturdy. The beads move smoothly and the "reset" button that moves all the beads to their zero position works well. You do have to make sure to hold it horizontally or lay it on a desk. The robin's egg blue color of the frame is attractive. Believe it or not, you can do things as complicated as square roots with an abacus, maybe I will aspire to that.

The media could not be loaded. This will not help you win speed competitions, but it is easy to use and the reset function is nice!
