Travel Tangoes Object Puzzles

This is an awesome gift for kids, adults and seniors to sharpen their mind and think outside the box.

My kids are still fairly young and don't quite understand that they aren't supposed to look at the answers on the back first, but even when they do they really have to think about which way to turn each shape and my 4 year old daughter loves making the shapes look like the pictures. I can see this being with our family a long time and will be even better once they can understand the fun of solving the puzzle.

Got this for my 5-year-old daughter & we both love it. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be (so check the size) but it's still a nice size. We keep it in the car mostly, for road trips, or she has taken it along when we go shopping. Some kids watch DVDs in the car or play hand-held video games while their parents shop. I love that instead of a screen, she is doing something educational & fun! Just bought a second one for my niece & I would definitely buy it again-for friends' birthday gifts, etc. Would definitely recommend this product!

We bought these a couple years ago, and forgot to come leave a recommendation. This is a great tool for travel, camping, or keeping kids occupied quietly during church.Only room for improvement would be a better way to keep the magnets in the book. The small ones do sometimes slide out and eventually get lost. Once that happens you can't make pretty much any of the shapes anymore. Some kind of little pocket in the book so they couldn't fall out would make this absolutely perfect!

This game was purchased as a travel gift for friends under ten. It is especially appropriate because of the mathematicalconcepts used previous to this called TANGRAMS which was introduced in science education classes in the 70's. Very good to see it in portable games, and the giver is hopeful that it will help build science concepts of lasting value in the gifted ones.

I purchased the Tangoes to use on an airplane. My Children are 11 & 5. The puzzles varied in difficulty, but some were very challenging for my 11 year old. My 5 year old used the solutions page to make her shapes, but she was very excited when she accomplished the shape. Not only did the kids use this on the plane, it was the only toy they took out in the hotel room, during our entire trip! I recommend this because it is fun, but also makes the kids think & use their brain cells!

These are super fun. .. for adults. Got them for my 5 yr old, per the age suggestion on the box, as she loves puzzles and tangrams. These are very difficult though, even for adults! Well made and fun though.

This has been a wonderful travel game for us! Over the past year my 4 year olds have used it quite often while traveling, the pieces never get lost since they are magnetic, and they have a great time creating the images and making their own. It is nice to have games to play while traveling that don't revolve around a screen. Definitely a great game to have in your travel activity arsenal!
