Really loving the Tapo smart bulbs (and the sockets too!). These smartbulbs are barely more expensive than basic led equivalents.They are very easy to set up with the smartphone app (I used the android one). You can turn the on (choose brightness level) and off remotely. You can also set schedules to turn them on/off at certain times, and also set an "away" mode where they switch on and off randomly to simulate occupation.(Hint if you are having trouble resetting the device should you need to, try switching it on and off at a slower rate than the 1/sec your are led through by the app).I had one issue because I had locked down my network and it wasn't letting the devices synchronise their time (geek detail - NTP outbound traffic was blocked). It was a difficult one to diagnose, but Karen Elizabeth Machate of first level support and then Ian.xu of the engineering team and developer colleagues at tp-link worked dilligently and patiently to find the issue.Having identified and fixed the issue (which I caused!) the devices are now working flawlessly, and are amazing value for money.

Replaced most of my lights with these TP link bulbs, having previously had a mixture of Hive and Hue lights, great thing about these are that you don't need a separate hub wasting energy as these bulbs connect through your WiFi, this is obviously also a slight downside as the setup is a bit more hit and miss.One bulb just would not connect no matter what I tried but I fortunately ordered a couple of spares as well, it will work with the light switch but just won't connect to the TP link Tapo app.The app is easy to navigate and more importantly is easy to link to my Google home app, they also automatically linked to my Alexa app, although I don't use Alexa much anymore.Great thing with these bulbs is you can also check how much energy they are using as well as historic figures in the TP link app, if you want a cheap manufacturer to turn your home into a smart home, I would definitely recommend this brand, my only disappointment is they do not do an E14 bulb, which is odd as many lamps use them

Bought a 4 pack and they all work really well.

It was pretty straight forward installing these bulbs and the connections to the wifi went smoothly.The only thing I would add is that if you have a dimmer switch you need to change it to a standard switch as the bulbs were flickering until this was done. So far pretty happy with the bulb and the app.

So easy to and quick to set up. Very pleased

They work, are easy to install and can be used with adaptors (I have them adapted to small edison's screws). With a Google Nest or Alexa you can even set how bright they are or do it on your phone or tablet.

Thought this was going to be another gadget in the house that didn’t get used properly but so easy to set up, lights set to come on at dusk, switch on and off at voice command and can be controlled when out of the house. What’s not to love?

Initially bought some lesser known wifi bulbs that the signal kept dropping out and they had to be reset frequently. I already have TAPO plugs, so I thought what the heck. Well, no drop out, all do as expected and integrated nicely with Alex, so a very happy bunny.
