I really like this dowel jig.
I used this to dowel together a bunch of cabinets. It is very accurate and works well. It also does a very good job of centering on the wood. While you do have to adjust it yourself for center, it is much more accurate and consistent than self entering doweling jigs. It costs a little more, but is very accurate and well made.

I am very pleased - versatile, well documented, and easy to use
I am very pleased with this jig. Several notable things: (1) very versatile, one can move parts of the jig around and adjust it for almost any imaginable situation. (2) manual is very detailed and is actually written in English (not garbled Chinese English), manual is a document which one can understand, follow, and get the most from the tool, (3) very well packaged in a compact carton, one can use the tool and then fit all the pats back into the box and store it in the box. It is not a plastic container, but cardboard works well, especially considering the price of the tool. I was lazy to get my Domino joiner out, and was able to complete a small project with a couple of dozens of dowels very easily and quickly. Also, dowels and spare drills are very inexpensive.

Best doweling jig I've owned without having to purchase the expensive ones. A must have in any shop.
Purchased a cheap dowel jig a long time ago and decided I needed something more. Found this one and was leary, but decided to take the plunge and glad I did. This jig is amazing! From the design aspect of it, it was well thought out making it very easy to use on multiple applications without having to change much at all. Remove two screws and move the plate and have it going from end to surface in a matter of seconds. The speed in being able to make the dowel holes is great and very easy to read and use. I used them on 2x10's and was able to get all 3 dowels in the project as I needed end, surface and face. The size is not too big, it's light enough that it doesn't feel super over weight and hard to use, but it is heavy enough that it will hold it's place. The all aluminum construction of the body is great and solid. Definitely recommended for any woodworkers workshop.

Solid, Accurate Doweling Jig - Bulky but Reliable for Straightforward Projects
I picked up the Milescraft 1334 Joint Master for some upcoming woodworking projects and wanted to share my first impressions after trying it out with some test boards.Build and First Impressions:The jig feels heavy and solid, made from aluminum with a self-clamping design that seems sturdy. It’s definitely bigger than I expected - about 25 cm (10 inches) long and close to 900 grams (2 lbs), so it takes up a decent amount of space.Ease of Use:Setting it up is straightforward. The self-clamping feature holds boards firmly, and I didn’t need extra clamps for my quick tests. The centering spacers are a nice touch and helped keep things lined up. The guides for 1/4 in, 5/16 in, and 3/8 in dowel pins (6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm) are clearly marked, and the holes I drilled matched up as expected in my scrap wood.Limitations:It’s a bit bulky, especially if you’re working on smaller projects or need to get into tight spots. From what I can tell, it isn’t as adjustable as some other jigs I’ve seen, but enough for many doweling tasks.Pros:Sturdy aluminum constructionHolds workpieces tight with self-clampingCentering spacers help with alignmentCompatible with several dowel sizesCons:Bulky and not easy to use in small spacesLess flexible than some other jigsSummaryOverall, my first impressions are positive. The Joint Master feels like a solid, reliable tool for simple doweling jobs, though it’s not the most flexible or compact option. If you mostly do straightforward edge or corner joints, it should work well. Hope this helps someone looking for a sturdy doweling jig.

A great jig
If you were like me and saw all those YouTube people using the domino and not being able to afford the ridiculous 1200 price tag and wondering what could work in place of it. This is it.It isn't as fast as the domino, but set up for this job is quick and the tools/ parts provided with it are a perfect fit to each other. With a collet on the drill bits for your desired depth and easy adjustability. There are a few plastic parts but most of the body is aluminum and feels very durable. The jig has stop guides on each side/ edge of the jig where you still the holes with which helped save me a lot of time with lining everything up.For those wanting to add another level of jointery this is an excellent pick.

Bargain Price - Top Performance
Milescraft is known for making serviceable equipment at very affordable prices. The 1334 jig is no exception. It performs the same as the "big boys" that cost 200.00 US and more. I know, I have a much more expensive jig. The 1334 does everything that the high priced jig does. It is easy to use and configure. The accuracy is top notch. You can't go wrong.

Meets my needs completely
I ended up buying this tool after seeing reviews of the Dowelmax doweling jig and thinking I might need one. They are expensive. When I realized that this jig had nearly the same capabilities, but with a simpler design and was much cheaper, I decided to give it a go before dropping 5x on the Drillmax. I'm glad I saved myself some money, because after building a couple of projects with this jig I realize that it is quick and easy to set up, dowel holes (and joined faces) align perfectly, and I can't imagine that the more expensive jig would produce better results. It completely meets my needs at a fraction of the cost and with a less complex user experience.
