Add Easy-To-Grasp Hardware To This Cover
Overall, this is a great item to reheat food in a microwave oven. However, as some feedback has mentioned, there is inadequate depth to grasp the cover and lift it off the plate or container of food. To remedy that problem, use the following materials and steps to install Nylon hardware as an easy way to lift the cover. Nylon is both dishwasher and microwave safe. See the two attached photos for reference. For two covers, you will need a power drill, a 3/16-inch drill bit, (2) Menard's #2017761, 10-24 X 1 inch Nylon binding head machine screw; (4) Menard's #2017868, 10-24 Nylon hex nuts; 3/8-inch open-end wrench, slotted screwdriver. Total cost of the Nylon hardware is approximately $3 U.S. You may also obtain the Nylon hardware from other sources. Note the hex nut fits snugly in place between the two half-moon shaped areas.1) Fully collapse the cover, and turn it over so the bottom is facing up. 2) Place a piece of scrap wood under the cover so that when the drill bit breaks through the cover material, it will not cause damage to any underlying surface. 3) Drill a through-hole in the center of the cover and remove any burrs. 4) Thread one hex nut onto the binding head screw until it is close to the screw head. 5) Insert the screw threads through the drilled hole from the top of the cover so the threads protrude beyond the two half-moon shaped depressions on the underside of the cover. 6) Thread the second hex nut onto the exposed screw threads until about 3/16-inch of the screw threads are showing beyond the nut. 7) Orient the nut so that it just fits between the two half-moon shaped depressions, and push the bottom of the screw up between the two half-moon shaped depressions. You may need to use the screwdriver to adjust the length of the exposed screw. 8) While holding the nut and screw in place on the bottom side of the cover, thread the other hex nut down until it is snugly against the top of the cover. 9) Use the 3/8-inch open-end wrench to tighten the top hex nut. 10) To adjust the length of the screw on the top of the cover, use the wrench and screwdriver to loosen the hardware, make the adjustment, and then tighten the hardware.

Not enough grip space
I have small hands and fingers and I still have a hard time gripping this and slips out. Tried it because a lower price but the the higher price is easier to grip.

Protects from food stains
I know it's easy to put your dish in the microwave to heat up, thaw, or cook without covering it first. If you aren't using something already this is the perfect solution! It covers most dinner plates, bowls, mugs, etc. The best feature besides keeping your microwave clean is it folds like an accordion for storage.

I love mine! I forgot how much i like this product for heating up in the microwave. I use it daily for about a month and it’s working perfectly. I keep it in my microwave so i don’t collapse it very often. It is easy to clean
