Perfect Fit for 2012 Sequoia SR5 Non Powered Lift Gate
These were super easy to install. I watched a 5 min video on YouTube. You’ll need a flat head screw driver to remove from the vehicle, a ladder or a tall telescoping pole to get this done. Recommend a friend to help. I didn’t realize how bad my gate was until it was closing on me. These are really strong and it takes some effort to close for sure.Do not underestimate how heavy the gate is without the struts on. Remove one at a time and secure the vehicle on a flat surface as well as the gate. Be safe and keep kids and fingers away while replacing.

Just got them installed. They barely hold the door up. I have to force the door up. Would not recommend.

They do not work that well.
They do not work that well. You have to still push up the rear hatch for it to go up all the way... seems they are not sprung properly for the weight. They do however, keep the hatch up once you place it.

Worked for rear hatch lift that were worn out.

NOT for liftgates with motors like they say
Motorized liftgate quit working already after install of these struts. These struts are too strong for a liftgate motor. I would only use these for powerless liftgates.
