My first purchased unit was not functional. There was some defect, so I contacted support and they let me ship the defective unit and sent me a replacement. I was impressed by how responsive support was!After receiving the replacement, it works like a charm! I started off at level 1 because of all the horror stories of burns and skin irritation I found on google. Turns out, my skin has no irritation from using this product on my legs and armpits (I don’t use on private areas though, so be careful with the power levels on pink skin!). I’m able to use the device at full power (level 5), and I saw significant hair removal after 1 month.Now, I just use it once a week after shaving. Be sure to get some razor bump treatment during the first few months of use, because as the device thins your hair, your thinned hair will still try to emerge from your pores, causing ingrown hairs. This problem will resolve itself as long as you continue to use the device regularly. Soon, there will be little or no hair at all!It’s very easy to use and the device is big enough to cover large areas, like legs, but small enough to fit in my hand. I’m not sure about durability yet, because I’ve only had the device for less than a year. I will update my review after some time has passed to review durability.

Update. Today is September 27th 2023. I know i said i was gonna update 2 months after, it was been a busy summer. Anyhow, Am almost hair free. I still get a few strays here and there. I still zap away at least twice a week/once a week. I got the confidence i never had since my teen years. And it feels amazing.To all my ladies out there. Commit to it. It was one of the best investments I've made on myself. Must share that i apply aloe vera gel after every use.Good luck to all of you struggling with facial hair.******** ******** ********* ********** ********Am a female on my mid 30’s, i have struggle with facial hair since i was a teen. No PCOS have ever been diagnosed. I had laser hair removal in my early 20’s, as a result i got what i feel was twice as much hair back and scarring of my skin. I have tried everything out there, hair growth minimizers, wax, plucking, laser hair removal you name it. First month of using ULike IPL i took it “easy” zapping twice each area which is what customer service recommended.But three weeks ago i started zapping 4 times each area. This is what my skin tolerates, by no means am advising anyone to do the same, this is what has worked for me. My chin has been my major concern and i keep working on it; today marks 2 months of zapping away every 3 days. As you can see in the pictures the hair is not completely gone, but this is a big achievement for me. I will update my review in two months from now hoping to be hairless for the first time since my teen years.i did armpits, legs, arms, upper lip and bikini area, committed to do it every three days zapping twice each area for 2 weeks, hair is 90% gone and i continue to do it now once every 2 weeks. Soon it will be once a month for those areas.I am writing this review with the only purpose of helping other women that suffer the same condition. If you want it to work you need to COMMIT!

Actually works but u have to use it consistently, it does overheat if u use it too long and like any other hair removal there is pain also slight smell of hair burning

This is after 3 days use and over a week of hair growth on my leg.I had an older cheaper style IPL hair remover that never really worked despite using it regularly. So buying this was a leap of faith that it would actually work. But I was desperate. I live with PCOS so I have heavy dark hair on my chin that’s super embarrassing. I have an obvious five o’clock shadow, and I’m super pale which just makes it worse. I have done a few laser treatments but I don’t have the money to fork out monthly. I used this machine 3 days in a row on my legs, underarms, and face. Then got busy with work and life and kinda forgot to keep up with it for a few weeks. I’m not a shaver of my legs or underarms daily. I shave every few weeks to once a week. Unless it’s going to be visible in a skirt or tank I don’t feel the urge.So two weeks go by without shaving and I remember the device and prep to shave and start using it again. So I looked at my legs and underarms. I HAD BALD PATCHES. Full strips on my legs where there was nothing. I obviously wasn’t even in my first few uses. But holy crap, it freaking worked! And immediately. My underarms which are dark and THICK are barely there. About 75% of the hair is straight up gone. I even have a very bald patches on my chin (which is the best and I genuinely cried).If you are unsure if it’s worth the money, it is. If you’re unsure if it will work, it can and did. I have very pale skin and dark brown hair on my chin and underarms and a medium blonde/brown on my legs. I know I’m probably the best candidate for this device skin tone and hair color wise, so I understand others might have different opinions. But if you are similar to me and/or wanting to try it, I recommend it to everyone now and I’ve only had it a month or so.
