Super cool. Lots of fun
My son loves his remote control shark. First of all, the design is really cool. The paint job is great and is very detailed. The tail technology of reinforced joints makes it move more powerfully through the water with less change of dislodging and delaying the fun. The double pack battery keeps the fun going and going. To recharge, there’s no tool needed! Just turn the latch and plug to a charger. My son uses the shark in the pool and bathtub. The cordless remote control is easy to use and has few buttons so not to sophisticated for a school aged kid. I highly recommend for a child under 10 and for a birthday gift or holiday present.

Crappy product
Worked great for couple times and then just stopped working. One battery will not charge. Other appears to charge but when put into the shark it still does not function.

MY LITTLE BROTHER LOVES IT
Got it for my brother for Christmas and he went ham playing with it in the pool he absolutely loves it and he was stoked to get it start playing with it!!!

Great fun but cheap plastic
The battery life seems pretty good and I really like that it comes with 2 batteries. It stears great, easy to use remote control, beeping sounds to warn of low battery but...I expecting a heavier, thicker plastic for the price. It's pretty cheap plastic but I will update after seeing how long it actually lasts. This is only day one.

The Kids Will Love It, Keep It Close
I got this for the kids this summer and they have had a ball with it. It does a lot of cool things in the water and it must have a sensor since it only operates in water (which is a good thing). They give you 2 batteries so you can keep it going a long time and there is a bit of a trick to setting this up. Install one of the battery packs into the shark THEN install the 2 batteries into the remote control and they will pair up. I should note that the range may vary for you but to keep on the safe side (not wanting my shark to swim away the 1 time we took it to the lake) I would say keep it around 50-70 FT or the remote will lose it. All things considered and the price this is 5 Stars but it is not made of iron so you need to take a minimum of care with it if you want it to last.
