Great Inexpensive Switch. It does more than they lead on to

Got this 2 device switch because I wanted to control a 240V Pool Pump and the Lights. When I got it I was disappointed that I could only control 2 120v devices independently or 1 240 device (Assuming you are breaking both legs using both switches. The first issue I had was that it had 2 independently controlled switches.. so since the app had no feature to throw both at the same time, you'd have to set both timers to the exact same setting.. Easy to get around but stupid. Also bad marketing using the term 240V. The voltage it can control is not as relevant as the wiring configuration.I was just about to buy another single switch and use it for the 240V and keep the dual switch for my 120v lights.Change of plans and this is not "Code" but I did it anyway. Code wants you to break both legs at the same time for safety. I already have a full disconnect right next to the switch. By switching only one leg this allows me to be able to control the 240V pump on switch 1 and the lights on switch 2I wired the one leg of my 240v line and one leg of my pump together. This way only one line gets broken with the switch. Works perfectly and yet is not code because there is always a hot feeding down through the motor. I have a hard disconnect right next to my switch and the pump is 3' from the switch. I felt it a Non Issue. The 120v lights are fed by one leg of my 240v line and I ran a separate white wire from the breaker box to the switch. Viola, full control of 2 separate and different voltage devices. A clear win for the price. In my photoRight Side - Power in 240V + WhiteBottom - Out to 240v PumpLeft -Out to Pool light

FIX for Connectivity Issue

People don’t read full instructions or have limited knowledge. In turn blame a product for its supposed shortcomings. If you are struggling with connectivity issues during setup or regular use, this is for you! TURN OFF 5 GHZ frequency on your router or access point. If you don’t know how to do that get help from your internet service provider or look it up online based on your router model. Their instructions clearly state - Support a dedicated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network only

Weak connections and poor applications

Unable to properly manage and use to its full capacity due to low signal strength. Wifi access point within 40 ft and has low to no signal.

Can now control my pool via Alexa

Nice unit at a nice price. I was stoked to find a unit that can control two seperate devices on seperare timers. Works well. I didnt quite understand how to wire this unit. The instructions wasn't real clear. To make it easy ill explain how I wired it. I used it in 120v mode. Hot wire (black) from service panel/gfci into timer. Hot wire connects to timer. Also you use the two loops they give you to feed power from timer input slot to unit #1 input, and then onto unit #2 input. Black wire from unit #1 to output slot number #1. Same as with unit #2. White wires from feed and from both units twist together with wire nut also including a pigtail out of wire nut to connect to the neutral on the timer slot. Set up wifi connections via instructions included. Timer has been running for over a month now and not a single failure to activate or shut off at all.

Awesome product, made my life easy!

I got two of this model. They work great. The setup was easy and the device connects to the Smart Life app right away. Alexa also recognized the Suraielec device right away and now my pool lights are voice controlled. I got two of these. One of these that I got was great but had trouble with the other one. The customer service is really great and responded immediately to my concern and fixed it for me right away. This shows they stand by their products and customers. I have also bought two of their other products to connect my pool motor and a pool robot. I highly recommend this product.

Easy swap out, loved could control 110 or 220

Loved this as a replacement for my old gear clock mechanism contorlling a fountain. The box case is nice but i realized i could just take the old guts out of the existing case and swap in these new ones. Had to cut a new piece of plastic to cover the wires on the bottom inside the old box (used an old piece of vertical blind) since the new mechanism is smaller than the old one. Downloaded the app and away we went! Only minor issue was i was expecting instant response from the pump and i hit the buttons too rapidly and threw the breaker. Give it a second and you will be fine!

Do not use to control 2 independent 240 V devices. It is not code.

The device works great but it is not code and dangerous to control 2 separate 240 v devices as you would be switching only one pole. If controlling 1 240 V or even 2 240 V simultaneous it works fine. The same goes for 120 V devices! The Wifi range is poor. On mine its working for about 5 meters! The App has a programing function to turn the switches on when temperatures come close to freezing. Still testing this but if it works you don't need a freezgaurd for pool like systems!
